Chp.18

Thomas .POV.

It's been a complete week now,Alex is still in the hospital and I've been visiting him everyday after school
It's crazy that school is still going from..well what happened..
I have a new mindset,I want to make him happy
We haven't really talked about the fact we are soulmates that much or that dream I had..but right now Alex needs me
I walk into the hospital with a bouquet of colorful flowers in hand,just a few mixed flowers and another gift in my pocket
After signing in as a visitor and being lead by a nurse I peek into the room to check on him
He's still the same yet he's a little better,he's trying his best to eat since he doesn't eat a lot ,he hasn't really stood up or walked around yet ,but I'm here to give him support and company as the lover I am
I'm even called a helpless romantic .
I smile at the sight of him,hiding the flowers behind my back as I walk in slowly
We have to keep the door open since it scares him if it's closed,he would always glance to it from time to time
Finally his beautiful eyes land on me,smiling shyly at me and looks away a bit with the same smile ,maybe even a blush
I smile at him and walk in slowly"hey there.."he start off
He tucks a piece of hair behind his ear and keeps his eyes away
"Hello.."
"How are you feeling?"I ask as I always do
He chuckles softly"Tired and all the above,you don't always have to come here"he says softly
I sit down on the bed,more near the edge on the other side to give him space
"I want to be by my sweethearts side"we both blush at what just came out of my mouth
What the hell Thomas!!?
He chuckles and blushes"that's new but..it's sweet"he looks up to me,trying to look at my back
I swiftly show him and flowers"I got these for you,I handed them over
He smiles and takes them"you've been getting me flowers all week"he chuckles quietly but holds him across his lap
I smile and chuckle"I can't help it,I just wanna spoil you"I admitted
My family was pretty wealthy so I can afford to get people things
"You don't need to,I don't need anything"he says as he looked to me
"Oh —well I guess you don't want this chocolate I guess"I shrug and take it out of my pocket
They were small round chocolate covered caramel balls that he likes,I mean they are good but not my favorite
He gasps and tries reaching for it
I chuckle and let him have it as he starts to eat a few,guess he has a sweet tooth
"I uh,I might be out of here soon"he tells me as he had a bunch of chocolate in his mouth
Thomas smiles and scoots a little closer"that's great to hear,do you need somewhere to stay?"I asked with a small concerned tone
He raised an eyebrow to me"Don't you live with your parents?"he asked
I shake my head"Nope,it's only me in my house ,well,along with a cat and a dog "
He tilts his head"a cat?I don't see you as a cat person"
I shrug"guess there's more to me then you think"
He shakes his head jokingly"mmm not really"he says as he eats more chocolate
Thomas chuckles and watches Alex for a moment
"I just thought that you'd like some company,to stay with me with my fur-babies "I say cheerfully
He smiles"Id like that"he answered honestly,chuckling at what I called my pets
"What are their names?"he asked me about the dog and cat
"Oh well I named my cat after James it well Jemmy,since he always wants to get away from me"we both chuckle
"And I named my cat cheese"
He asked"Why cheese?"
"Cause my sister has a cat named Mac "
Alex facepalmed"you and your damn Mac and cheese"he chuckles,I love that laugh
"I love Mac and cheese"I say proudly,moving my body a little more to his
"How about,I learn your favorite food,On a date?"I myself asked a little shyly
He blushed and looked to me,I thought taking it slow will help him feel more comfortable
He nods and sets his hand on mine which makes me have stars in my iris's

"I'd love to"he says softly

After about another few days I had everything of Alex's moved into my house,I placed everything where it needs to be when he got out of the hospital
He was pretty well but I let him sue my bed to sleep while I take the couch,just since it made him uncomfortable

He was shocked at how cold Jemmy the cat was but when asleep ,he's a cuddle bug.
And Cheese is so silly and just wants everyone's attention,she is a puppy after all

Well now it was after our date at a nearby,simple restaurant in the area
Alex looked so beautiful,a button up shirt with his hair in a ponytail and jeans
Me I wore a tie and a button up
We just got home and he seemed so full of energy ,but really it was time to wine down

I chuckle and rub his shoulder gently as I take off my shoes,being greeted by Cheese who tried to jump on us
Alex gladly picked him up and got his special kisses on his face

Lucky.

I smile and take the leftover to the fridge .

Alex's.POV.

I giggle as I got kisses from Cheese,he seems to like me so that was nice ,I set him down and take my shoes off
Then I see him take Thomas's shoe and runs
"Hey!nono-!"I say as I run after him,tripping sadly on a rug and huffed in pain
Thomas got into view as he looks down to me"Are you Okay lex?"he asked as he offered his hand

I blush and take his hand,him having helped me up easily "I'm okay,just knocked the air out of me"I answer
He rubs my shoulders and leads me into the bedroom
"Here,go get comfy and I'll check for bruises"he was so caring to me,I can't help but blush

When he closed the door I changed into a sweater to hide my chest and some loose sweatpants of mine
I walk out and see him changed in the living room,pajamas that match his nerdy Star Wars theme ,I was able to snatch the shoe and set it back before I watched Thomas for a moment
He looks to me with a smile as he turned the tv on
"Wanna cuddle..?"he asked gently as he opens his arms

Damn..
