(65) - colourful room

"I'm just going to take a short nap, alright baby?", Olivia asked baby Meredith.

"I'm a big girl, mummy.", she rolled her eyes.

She smiled at her and went into hers and Harry's bedroom. As soon as the door closed, baby Meredith jumped off of the couch she was sitting on and placed an ear on the door of her mummy's bedroom.

To make sure she was sleeping, so she could start with the cool plan she had in mind.

Olivia fell into a peaceful sleep and baby Meredith started searching the room where her daddy kept his magnificent suits.
Finn the Dog was helping the little girl, thanks to Meredith as she gave him a sock of Harry's to sniff and together they searched for the room.

Their house wasn't that big but not even that small, so she thought they would be able to find the room her dad talked about.
She admired him for wearing whatever he wanted and that he didn't really care about what people thought of his style.

He was just Harry for her.
Colourful and funny Harry.

Finally, they found the room that was being searched with patience for the last five minutes, and entered. Fortunately it wasn't locked.

As baby Meredith entered, her eyes went open and her mouth fell open. Finn the Dog, was surprised too as he saw the colourful suits in front of him and slightly barked.

"Shh! You'll wake mummy up!", Meredith shushed him and gave the dog a crunchy.
"Good boy.", she gave him a toothless smile.

"Now, now where do I start?", the little girl got excited as she looked at the suits in front of her. She couldn't wait to try one, even though she knew they were a little too big on her.

Meredith started with her favourite one; the pink and gold one. The pants were way too big and the shirt and pink jacket aswell. She looked at her self on the mirror and smiled, feeling a lot like her daddy.

Finn came next to her and gave her a smile that only baby Meredith was able to see.
"You've been a good boy.", she patted his head.

During Meredith's try-on, Olivia got a message from Harry, which meant that he was going to be home incredibly soon. Mummy wasn't aware that her daughter was trying Harry's suits, beacuse she thought that she was just in her bedroom playing with their dog.

Meredith tried the other suit, the blue one with golden flowers on it. That looked cool, she thought. And with a last look at the mirror in front of her, the door opened revealing two worried parents.

"Oh baby.", Harry slapped his hand on his forehead, chuckling.

"Hmm.", she looked at them.
"You got me so worried.", Olivia hugged her.

"I told you about daddy's suits, baby.", she looked at Meredith.
"Daddy is not so happy."

"They actually look amazing on her.", he noticed.
"Look at my little girl.", he sat on his knees beside his wife. Olivia rolled her eyes playfully.

Meredith smiled.
"Can I have it?", she looked at him with big sweet eyes.

"No, but I can buy the same suit in your size, baby. If you like it so much.", he smiled.

"Sì!", she hugged him.
"Yes?", he questioned, not sure if it meant a yes.

"Sì!", she chuckled.
"I'm still wondering if you're more of a British or an Italian baby.", he took her in his arms.

"Both.", Olivia and Meredith laughed.

"Alright, my bitalian baby. You're getting a suit."
"And next time, please ask if you try them on.", he begged.

"I'll think about it.", Olivia laughed at her baby's and Harry's words.

He loved his suits, and of course with the price he would pay for them, he would love to keep them safe and intact.

He snorted and Meredith shared her story on how she found the colourful room.

They had a few laughs and with that the bitalian baby fell asleep on the couch in her daddy's arms.
