S.O.S. daddy part 2

_____________

The following morning, Olivia presented herself once again in front of the Styles' front door.

She wasn't very pleased as she heard and saw what little Meredith usually ate.
So, the woman decided to bring the same usual - already prepared - meal, that the little girl was used to eat.
All in a little bag, along with some other vegetable.

Taking a deep breath, Olivia put a soft smile on her lips and knocked on their front door.

The door opened and it revealed a Harry with messy hair and a little Meredith with dirty clothes.

"Good morning.", said Olivia in a soft tone, as she examined the state both of them were in.

"Good morning. Come in!", Harry welcomed her once again inside.

As she entered their house, the bag she usually had was placed in the place it was the previous morning.
Everything ordinary, except for the father and his daughter.

"I apologize for the mess...", Harry awkwardly said as he caught Olivia's eyes looking around.
"It's fine...", she responded and looked at the open door on their left.

"Is that your kitchen?", Harry nodded at her question.
"Could I get in? I would like to show you something.", Harry nodded once again and picked little Meredith up, as they made their way towards the required room.

Olivia placed the other bag she was holding, on the kitchen table and Harry put little Meredith on her little white chair.

"Today I brought something very familiar, to you, guys.", Olivia happily smiled as she took out of her bag, the little heart little Meredith loved.

"Yum, yum.", little Meredith wanted the meal, as she gestured to Olivia to give it to her.

"Oh no, Princess Meredith! You'll get something else, but first I would like to show you what there's really inside of this little heart.", Harry's eyebrows furrowed and little Meredith pouted as her request was declined.

"Harry, please read the ingredients.", Olivia gave him the little heart, that he quickly turned around to read its ingredients.

"Broccoli, spinach, carrot, cauliflower, pasta sauce, pasta and salt.", Harry finished reading and looked up to meet Olivia's eyes.

"Nothing wrong. Right?", Olivia smiled at his little innocent question.

"How much do you think there's broccoli in this meal?", she leaned on the table, as little Meredith looked at them curiously.

Harry thought.
"Two thirds? I mean, not too much because there's also other vegetables.", he rambled.
Olivia nodded and motioned to the meal.
"Open it, pick up a spoon and take a bite.", Harry cringed at the thought of eating the already prepared meal.

He followed her orders and made a face as he tasted the product.

"Now Harry, how much broccoli is in that meal?", Olivia and little Meredith laughed at the weird face he made.

Harry sighed.
"I can't taste it."
"Exactly."

He looked on the floor.
"What can you taste, Harry?", another spoon full flew in his mouth and once again, he cringed at the taste.

"I can only feel the pasta. I don't exactly know what this tastes like.", he shamefully said and suddendly Harry wanted to punish himself for feeding his only daughter like that.

"Exactly.", Olivia repeated once again.
"Please hand the food to Princess Meredith.", he followed the order and the little girl looked at the woman with big eyes.

"Do you know what broccoli is, Princess?", little Meredith nodded at her question.
"Can you taste it?", little Meredith shook her head as she slowly enjoyed her last, full spoon of food.

Olivia looked at Harry, who had clear tears in his bright eyes.
He quickly exited the room.

Olivia quickly gave Princess Meredith an already cut apple, and took the little heart away.
"It's very yummy.", she winked and followed the curly haired man.

"Harry, hey.", she found the man lean against the wall, with his hands on his face.
Olivia quickly approached him and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"It's okay Harry. We'll slowly find a solution. Don't worry.", Harry continued to cry and slowly turned around to hug her body close to his.

_____________

"Please, Princess Meredith, grab the broccoli from the table and give it to your daddy.", Olivia started making all the ingredients - that are originally in the little heart - ready, so that the whole family could enjoy a fresh and yummy meal.

"Yes, Ollie!", Meredith happily said.
The idea of cooking her own meal was exiting and sounded like fun.
Also, Harry was more than happy to collaborate with the two, wanting more than anything to give his daughter what she truly deserved.

"Princess?", little Meredith slowly turned around and looked at Olivia.
"Could you grab something from that bag?", Meredith nodded and grabbed the only thing that was left in the bag.

Her mouth was wide as she happily screamed, scaring Harry.
"It's f-for me?", she had a heart shaped plate in her hands as she looked at Olivia for confirmation.

Olivia nodded and little Meredith hugged her legs, happily.

"Thank you!"

The meal the three of them prepared, was placed in three little heart shaped plates and then were set on the table.

"Can you taste broccoli?", Harry and little Meredith nodded and pointed little pieces of it.

"It's so yummyyy."

_____________

"How can I thank you?", Harrys shyly asked and Olivia smiled at his shyness.

"It was a pleasure working with you, guys.", she simply said.

"Tomorrow at the same time?"
"Tomorrow at the same time."
