Meredith Olivia Styles' Point of View:

"Today at kindergarden I didn't learn anything. I'm definitively too smart for that small school.
Mum says so, and dad to.
They love the fact that I love reading books; just like mum. She loves reading books, both to me before I go to bed and whenever she has the time too.

Dad reads me at night too. I can't help but laugh just at the thought.
Everytime, he sits down on my small pink chair beside my bed and places the huge tale book on his weird knees and starts finally reading.
His reading is funny, and mummy has to correct him everytime he pronounces the words wrong. And everytime she does that, he rolls his eyes, shaking his head.

"Just because you're italian.", he always says, whenever she'd do that.
"I can't be mad. Your food is delicious.", he comments whispering and I would chuckle.

I love both of my parents.
I have never seen anybody love a person as much as daddy loves mummy.
They love each other very much, and I'm very lucky to witness their love grow each day a bit more.

Mum said that her parents didn't have the bestest relationship, that two people could possibly have.
She said, she'd cry whenever she saw them fighting or whenever her mum would be sad over the previous fight she had. But, mummy reassured me that now that she has me and daddy, she's so much happier.

That's one of the reasons I spend lots of time with just my grandma Francesca and even with Anne.
They're both very kind, and we always have lots of fun when it's just the three of us alone.
Whenever they come to visit me, I have to promise to not tell anything to daddy. Once we messed his clothes up, by drawing on them. Then, we put eggs in his brown slippers. And switched the cereal with the food of our dog Finn. It always ended up with him either fake crying on mum's shoulder, or him spending the whole day in his bedroom eating ice cream.
By now, he probably knows that it's us, becuase we leave a piece of paper behind, that has our initials written on.

The golden trio.
Mummy told me that I had watch Harry Potter one day.
The day came a few weeks ago, and I couldn't stop looking at daddy whenever someone would say his name.
And I couldn't stop laughing when Hagrid announced that Harry's a wizard.

That's how I greet my dad.
"You're a wizard, Harry.", and he'd turn around and snort, and I'd do the same to high five mum."

"Meredith! It's time per la storiella della buona notte!", called mummy for me.

"I'm coming mum!", I closed my sparkly yellow diary that daddy bought for my birthday, and jumped off the high chair I was sitting on.
I exited the kitchen and walked up the stairs, heading towards my bedroom with my diary in my hands.

"Hello darling.", mummy smiled warmly at me, and opened her arms for me.
I went towards her and hugged her tightly.

"Still writing about him, baby?", she looked at me with tears in her hazel eyes, as I sat on her lap.

"You do that too?", she nodded and a tear rolled down her cheek.
"I miss him so much, mum.", the words barely escaped my dry throat.
Mummy nodded and hugged me tighter than she ever had.
"I miss him too, angel.", mum put me on the bed and wrapped my body with sheets of different colours, as she told me about how proud my daddy would be of me.

"The story ends here, without knowing If the girl lives an happily ever after. But baby, always remember, that the people who truly love you, never leave you.
Just like the prince, he never truly left the princess. You know why baby?", I shook my head.

"Because he stayed in her heart. He's watching after her, so that nothing bad happens."

"Daddy does that too?", the words escaped my lips and mummy nodded with wet eyes.
"Yes baby. He's watching us.", she kissed my cheek and left my bedroom after wishing me a good night.

"Thank you daddy for making everyone happy, while you were there."
