Deformities cited as film defects by officials. Fire at library occurred one week later. Actual photograph confiscated as evidence.

Two days later, another Something Awful user, LeechCode5, uploaded two images of Slender Man inspired by the original post. The captions pegged the creature as a predator of human children.
