My legs moved with undeniable speed, cutting me through the surrounding forest. Trees looking down on me as I laughed light heartedly knowing these paths like the back of my hand. I could hear the shouting behind me, strained calls of my name whipping through the air, as I effortlessly moved in and out of the blurry trees.

I came to a stop as I smiled smugly to myself, he will never be able to find me here. My hands moved fast just like the rest of me as I swiftly climbed up the large oak tree. Stopping about half way up I hauled myself over a thick branch my hands clinging on to it lightly, crouching down slightly so I wouldn't be spotted.

He will never look up here he never does.

I chuckled lightly as I saw his lean figure come in to view. Much like me he was moving fast and swiftly with little effort. Covering my mouth knowing instantly that my small chuckle might get me caught, and I was right. His eyes scanning the area like a hawk scavenging its prey.

His body came to hault as his lips parted slightly, eyes squinting. Something he usually does when he concentrates.

"So it looks as though I've won" his voice echoed through the empty forest, a few birds could be heard calling in the distance as his low words disturbed them.

I stifled a laugh as I pressed my palms closer to my lips.

A smirk tugged on his lips as he looked up slowly his eyes finally meeting mine.

"Boo" he whispered, but something easy for me to hear.

I jumped down from my spot, the impact not affecting me one bit as my legs went back to action carrying me away from the not so scary enemy. He was my best friend after all.

Being a few months younger than the boy after me I thought I would be at the upper hand getting away, my powers coursing through my veins, where as his had calmed down a bit, normal for a 14 year old, you see 14 it is the age our powers become less playful, the more serious side setting in. you can still run for miles and miles our agility and speed up to scratch, but they say that's when voices start. Something my mother said we should never have been 'blessed' with. Something I tried not to think much about, it was inevitable it was going to happen, most could cope and use it to their advantage, but me I've already been told I'm to weak and feeble to pull through it.

I shrugged the thought of as I kept running, don't let it get you Lillah ignore the elders they know nothing.

That's the reason they are elders you idiot. They know everything.

I had been to wrapped up in my own thoughts to noicte the boy on my tail, enclosing in on me. Suddenly I felt two large arms spring around my waist pulling me back with undeniable strength, I tried wiggyling out of the growing grip but soon gave up knowing there was no use in trying anymore.

"So what's that you owe me huh?" his smug tone rolled off his tongue as I gritted my teeth in frustration. Always was a sore loser espeacailly when it came to him.

I sighed falling a little limp in his arms as I squecked out " I know I know, one soda coming your way" his laugh was booming through my ears as he replied with a quick.

"Sore loser Lillah youre such a sore loser" somehow he never gets tired off saying that.

I turned around as his arms feel going down to his sides. The call of my name made me spin round.

"LILLAH LILLAH LILLAH" rang through his lips, but that wasn't his voice. His lips where moving fast as his eyes looked panicked, my best friends large hands coming to my shoulders shaking me.
