Part 3: The Change

Winters P.O.V.

I looked around and saw more of those things around the hospital. Therese fell down to her knees and cupped her face with tears falling down her eyes I felt tears filling my eyes again after what just happened to Ambrose and now this! I let out all the tears I had fall down my cheeks down to my chin. "I can't....! I-I-this is...the end" I said sobbing Therese stood up "We have to find a way to fable town and find the rest of our siblings and tell them about this" Therese turned to me with her puffy eyes " don't you think they already know about this? or maybe they left to go to a safer place?" I said "well what if they are there? We should check it out" Therese said obviously worried "fine, but how are we suppose to get there?" I asked " The sewers?" she asked "okay. how?" I said "Umm... the street"

" ARE YOU CRAZY?!" I whispered loudly " there are millions of those things on the street!" I said " we'll find a way to get to a manhole" Therese said confidently *sigh* "I don't know about this Therese?" I said " let's get in the hospital to get knives or stuff like that!"Therese suggested "what?! why in-" Therese grabbed my arm tightly and went in the hospital "No! Therese-" "Shhhh...." Therese shushed me "but Therese these "things" do not die!" I whispered "remember when that asshole attacked you and I pierced his head... well that's how we kill 'em." Therese said. We walk cautiously towards the surgical section.Therese grabbed a bloody knife from the floor and I grabbed a sharp hammer from the spilled surgical supplies. As we were going to make a turn to reach the hallway that leads to the exit I was attack by those things "Ahh no!" I screamed in terror I escaped the monster's arms and stabbed his head "didn't go through well!" I thought and stabbed its head "die you motherfucker, die!" I screamed "its dead Winter" Therese said "c'mon!" We reached the exit. We started to walk to the edge of the sidewalk close to the crowd my heart kept skipping beats each time those things tried to attack me " There's a manhole" Therese whispered " okay" I whispered " Can you cover me while I open this?" "yeah" I said.

Therese's P.O.V.

I turned half-human and half-wolf I pulled the top off "winter!" I said she turned around "okay, you go first" I said to winter she got on the ladder and went down.The noise of the ladder was too loud and was attracting more of those things "OH SHIT!" I thought out loudly "Therese?! Therese you okay?!" winter asked desperately "Argh!" I grunted loudly as one of them threw me down with him through the manhole I hit the ladder with my head while the "thing" splattered its head to the floor. As I was falling I grabbed the ladder as tight as I could. A piece from the ladder broke off and I fell to the floor " THERESE!!" I heard winter scream as I completely doze off.
