Clem's pov

"Nick... Are you okay?" I asked, as he held the cub. "No, If I was fucking there...." he mumbled, "What.... happened..?" He asked me. "She thought that.... the babies would be hope, bright lights that would shine in this dark world. She wanted you to raise them right, never let them... learn or be apart of this world." I said. "Okay... thanks Clem...." he said, "Yup." I said walking over the group. "Hey, Clem. How's Nick holdin' up?" Luke asked turning to me, "Not great." I said looking at Nick. "Well, we still need to find Mike and Bonnie." he said. "Just wait, let Bloss, Therese, and Nick, mourn for at least a night, Luke." I sternly said, "I know but.." he said looking down. "You like Bon?" I asked, "No! No, I don't!" He crossed his arms. "Hey, Clem, how are you not weirded out by the hairy monster baby wolf thing?" he whispered, "I don't really care right now. Winters gone, the babies are finally born, it's over. I don't really give a crap about how Lou looks like." I whispered back. "Your a weird tough kid." he said, I punched his shoulder. "Okay, where are we going to stay for the night?" Blossom asked, "I don't know, the.... hospital seems like the only secure place." Luke said. "Are you fuckin' kidding?! That's where Winter died!" Therese angrily said, loud enough for Nick to hear. I looked back at Nick, his shoulders dropped even more. "I didn't pick to be the leader of this group okay. Lets just... can you see any secure places around here?" he asked. "Luke, don't be stupid. The hospital is where the walkers came from and then infested this place." I said. "Fine. Lets do it your way Clem." He said turning to me. "Why are you asking me? I'm just a kid." I crossed my arms. "What about the pet shop?" Blossom said as she put one hand on her hip. "It seems... why does this place even have a pet shop?" I asked, Blossom shrugged. "What about the pharmacy?" Therese said turning to Luke, "I.. guess it seems save." He said. "Fine, lets go. It has formula too so.. it'll be a good place to stay." Luke said, I walked over to Nick. "Nick....? C'mon, we're going." I said "Okay." he sadly said. We went in the pharmacy. "Here, Clem, take him for a moment." Nick said handing me the infant (/cub) then he walked into the back, I was about to walk in with him "Leave him, Clem. He needs time alone." Luke said.

Nicks POV

I put both hands on a table, "Oh, god. Winter. If I was there... If... I WAS FUCKING THERE!!!" I sobbed. "I just wish I could see you again. I just want to see you again!" I sobbed, "Nick?" I heard Luke say. I turned around, "Are you.. okay?" He asked, "No! I'm not! I loved her, Luke..... I loved her so much!" I said covering my eyes. "She's in a better place, Nick." he said "I FUCKIN' KNOW SHE IS! I just want to see her again... one last time, see her...." I said. "I'm so sorry, Nick" he said walking up to me, "I just want. To. Be. Alone." I said giving him a sad glare. "Yes, of course." he said leaving, "Why? Why? Why?! .....just kill me... please... I love you Winter....." I sobbed as I fell on my knees, "Nick," I heard, "I love you too." I quickly looked up. "Dont say those things, it scares me." It was Winter wearing a beautiful dress, I got up "Winter?" I said. "Take care of our children, Nick." she gave me a small smile placing her hand on my right cheek, "I can't do this without you, Winter...." she sadly looked at me, "You're the only thing that keeps me sane, I can't do it without you." I sobbed as I touched her hand on my cheek. A tear rolled down her cheek, then she gave me a long slow passionate kiss. She pulled back "I love you... I love you so much Nick.... but please... take care of them for me...." she said as tears rolled down her cheeks, she started to fade away, "No. Please, don't fucking leave me." I angrily said trying to grab her. "Take care of them.... you promise, right?" she faded away, "I promise..." I mumbled.
