PART THREE: More Mouths To Feed
Winters P.O.V.
I woke up in a bed, "Anng..!" I looked down the sheets. They were covered with blood stains. I sat up straight and removed the sheets covering me, My leg was bandaged up "I guess they took the bullet out" I thought. " I don't care if she was all alone! You can't just bring more people! That means more mouths to feed! And we don't have that much food left! We don't have any at all!" I heard Nick scream. I quickly got out of bed and walked close to the stairs and held the railings, " What's going on?" I said, I saw a little girl with Therese. "Holy... I hadn't seen a child for a long time. Where'd you find her?" I asked as I walked down the stairs. "The fucking woods!" Nick rudely said "Where's da-- where's Bigby?" Therese asked me. "I don't know. Nick?" I asked "hunting." he calmly said knowing someone would blame him. "Nick! Why'd you just let him go out there?!" Therese screamed, The little girl looked at me. I waved her over and she walked over to me, " Well, he didn't want us to starve! And I couldn't stop him! Okay?!" He said "Then, why didn't you go with him you idiot!" Therese screamed at him. "He said to fucking take care of Winter!" Nick said. "Okay, guys cool down. Therese He's going to be fine. Nick we will find a way to take care of this little girl." I tried to cool them down losing my temper. "But Winter! This means we need more food!" Nick complained " Nick! Shut Up!" I said " We are going to bring walkers!" I said. Everyone scattered around. Nick went into the kitchen, Therese sat down on the couch, and the little girl sat down on the stairs. First, I went up to the girl and sat next to her. "What happened to your leg?" the girl asked " A gang." I responded "oh." she said "So, what's your name?" I asked " I'm clementine. You?" She said "I'm Winter." I said "Winter? As in the season Winter?" she asked me "Yep!" I said " And how um.. old are you if you don't mind?" I asked "I'm eight, I lost my group." She frowned "I'm sorry." I said. I heard someone knock at the door, Nick came over to it and opened the door. "Nick?!" I heard someone say.
