I heard Winter scream from the bedroom to the living room, she seemed in a lot of pain. I was sitting down on the couch " I'll-- I wanna go for a walk" I said " No. You can't it's dangerous out there, a gang even surrounded us out there!" Nick shouted from the kitchen " I just... have to...!" I got up and walked out the door.

-In the woods

I was walking for a few minutes and I started to hear noises and started getting paranoid. "He--Hello?" I whispered trying to avoid the walkers. "Is anyone there?" I said cautiously walking a little bit closer to the noise. I heard someone gasp then heard fast footsteps "No! wait! I won't hurt you" I said to the running person, I chased after the person. I grabbed the person's arm, "No let go of me!" The person screamed "No, no, no! I am not gonna hurt you!" I said. The person stopped struggling, "We have a group, okay?" I let the person go. It was a little girl with a backpack, red jacket, and a hat with a D on it, she also had a small skirt. She raised up a gun at me "Look, I'm not gonna hurt you, if you can put the gun down we can talk, okay, sweetie?" I said with a soothing voice. She chose not to lower her gun. "okay, Look, I'm not a threat or a bad person, I just want to help. It's just I hadn't seen a kid for so long and... you definitely cannot wonder around the woods, it's dangerous. Please let me help you. We have a group, we live in a cabin, not far from here, I can take you there." I said, she lowered her gun, but just a little. "Do you... trust me?" I said kneeling down to her height " Do I trust you not to try to eat me, kill me, or rob me?" the child said, shockingly, but I couldn't blame her. There wasn't much people to trust anymore, a gang hurt my sister, and this world has just gone to shit. "Of course I'm not going to do that, what's your name?" I asked " I'm clementine (...Everett...jk 😂)." She said with a smile " Nice to meet you Clem, I'm Therese." I said introducing myself. " Therese? Nice name." She said "Thank you, c'mon let me take you to the group." I said, and left with the little girl holding my hand.
