Too heavy

Awsten twists the key in the lock and opens the door. He's done for the day, it's dark outside and he's tired. Their band manager wanted to meet with him about stuff that required only him. He'd been there for hours and he was ready to collapse onto their bed. That was until he walked into their apartment. He saw Geoff sprawled out on the floor, sleeping; he looked adorable with his ruffled hair. Awsten shut the door and thought about what he should do. Geoff is way too heavy to carry, besides he'd wake him up. Awsten debates phoning a friend in this situation, but looking at his watch - everyone would be asleep.

He remembered Geoff mentioning something about printers and this was it: he was setting up a new one. Geoff was in the middle of three laptops: Awsten's; his own and their work laptop that they take on tour. All the screens were blacked out, so Awsten walked up to them and moved each of their mousepads. It looked like everything was done, so he shut them all down. He moved them away from Geoff and went to their bedroom.

He changed into his pyjamas - stealing one of Geoff's shirts. He grabs the duvet off of the bed and drags it quietly to the living room, where Geoff is. They'll both wake up with stiff back in the morning, but Awsten doesn't mind. He covers Geoff in the duvet before going back into the bedroom to retrieve pillows.

He lay down next to Geoff and put the pillows into place. The wooden floorboards were cold, so Awsten entwined his legs with Geoff's. He pulled the duvet around him and cuddled with Geoff. Geoff, in his sleep, pulled Awsten closer and buried his face in his hair. They fell asleep like that and Awsten couldn't have been happier (other than if it had occurred in his comfortable bed that he was missing right now).
