Awsten hadn't seen Geoff in a while and it was starting to freak him out. Apparently Geoff went to the park to play Pokemon Go while he looked after the record shop he worked at. Geoff normally kept Awsten company, but today was sunny and Geoff couldn't help but to be lured out. Awsten didn't mind - he would have done the same thing had he had the choice. Although, an hour seems too long to be playing Pokemon Go; to be outside, even. Awsten softly hummed to the music playing overhead as he waited for Geoff to come back.
Not even five minutes later did Geoff reappear in the open doorway that was letting some of the heat out.
"Hey, Gorgeous. I was worried—" Awsten started, but was cut off by Geoff shushing him and creeping closer to the cash register that he was behind. Geoff looked down at his phone and continued slowly creeping.
Awsten was about to ask him what on earth he was doing, but Geoff suddenly stopped and loudly whispered, "There it is! I found a rare Pokemon. Don't move." This left Awsten nonplussed.
"W-what?" Awsten murmured. Geoff just stepped forward, being more dramatic about his so called 'sneaky' movements.
Geoff sounded ominously suspicious as he insisted, "Just don't move, I'm gonna catch it!" He continued shuffling forward until he was about two large steps away from Awsten (who had now moved out from behind the counter to inspect what his boyfriend was doing). He was taken by surprise when Geoff launched himself at him and hugged him tightly.
"What are you doing?" Awsten yelled in shock.
"I did it!" Geoff cheered. "I caught the cutest Pokemon!" Awsten laughed hard at that. He loved how quirky his boyfriend was at times and it never failed to brighten his day.
