Darkness swept the tour bus; the only light coming from street lights outside. He woke up in the middle of the night - by a check of the phone he confirmed it was 3:04 - for what seemed like no reason. It was one of those nights where you wake up and don't think anything, but still can't sleep.

Geoff sighed and pulled the curtain to his bunk back, trying not disturb any sleeping people. He lacked finesse as he jumped down from his bunk (almost falling into Jawn's). There was no way he was going back to sleep any time soon, may as well sit alone in the darkness for a while. At least, he thought he was alone. When he walked into the tiny living area, he almost had a heart attack because he saw a body on the sofa watching TV on mute. Geoff adjusted his eyes to the somewhat darkness and made the figure out as Awsten.

"Aws?" Whispered Geoff; it sounded deafening in the silence that had enveloped the bus. Awsten seemed to be shocked out of his thoughts because he turned his head sharply to look at Geoff's disheveled appearance. Geoff hadn't shaved in a few days, so he looked a little rough; but Awsten thought he looked even more adorable. His hair was all ruffled from the pillow and he was wiping his eyes with his palms - Awsten almost awed out loud.

Awsten wasn't sure if he should reply or not, so he simply waved Geoff over to sit by him. Geoff obliged and sat right next to him; skin to skin. Geoff's smell was so comforting to Awsten that it overwhelmed him for a split second. "Why are you up, Sunshine?" Geoff often called Awsten nicknames that dusted Awsten's cheeks with rose. In truth, Geoff called him these nicknames because he liked to pretend they were dating.

Awsten stared at Geoff with drowsiness for a little while before murmuring, "Nightmare." With that Awsten collapsed onto Geoff. Awsten had been awake since 1AM, watching shitty black and white movies on the horror channel. Awsten craved sleep and with Geoff's amazing smell he thought it might be possible.

Geoff pulled Awsten so that he was sitting in his lap with Awsten's head on his chest. "Oh, I'm sorry, lovely." Geoff breathed, and started stroking Awsten's hair - he adored the colour. Awsten simply hummed in acknowledgement. Geoff's eyes fixed onto the screen and they both sat like that for longer than it seemed.

"I think we should go to bed, Sweetheart." Geoff uttered. Awsten agreed, but didn't want to move. All Geoff got was a soft groan of denial. "C'mon, Darling, please?" Geoff insisted softly. Awsten, in his tiredness, just clung onto Geoff's sleep shirt and whined. Geoff smiled at Awsten's cuteness and decided to take matters into his own Awsten-filled hands. The search for the remote started and when he found it, Geoff turned the muted TV off. He tickled Awsten's sides lightly and picked him up, standing up. Awsten instinctively latched on and Geoff held him securely.

Geoff carried them both to his bed; which was difficult because all the street lights were off now. He gathered Awsten up into his arms and the second Awsten's head found Geoff's chest he was out cold. Geoff smiled to himself and whispered, "I love you, Sunshine." Then drifted off into his own slumber.
