1 week 3 days (morning) (185-112 children) (5 special)
“DEADLINE. DO YOU KNOW WHAT A DEADLINE IS?” The knight asked. He had forced all the kids in one corner and asked them this question. The creature growled. The kids shook their heads.
“WELL I WAS GIVEN A DEADLINE. SOME OF YOU WERE SPECIAL. THE REST WERE DEAD. I BELIEVE THERE ARE STILL SPECIAL CHILDREN LEFT. I ONLY HAVE FOUR MORE DAYS BEFORE FINDING SPECIAL CHILDREN. IF I DON’T EVERYONE DIES. SO TODAY, I HAVE PREPARED SOMETHING SPECIAL. CONTRARY TO NORMAL, YOU WILL SPEND ALL DAY HERE. NOW FIRST CHILD. YOU. COME WITH ME.” He said as he pointed to one child. The child hesitated so the knight grabbed him and brought him in the middle of the place. The one hundred and eighty-four other kids stayed in the corner.
They saw him sit the child down in the middle and then the child was blocked by the knight’s back. They waited for fifteen minutes, during which screams were heard, before the knight got back up. A few children cried as they saw the red immobile form.
“NEXT.” The knight said. None of the children moved. “YOU COME HERE NOW OR THE CREATURE WILL KILL YOU ALL.” The knight said pointing to a girl. The other kids urged forwards, some nearly pushing her. The girl was forced to go to the center.
The little girl had hidden herself behind all the children and had hugged herself.
Some children screamed, some were silent and some begged for mercy. The number of children dwindled rapidly.
Then came a special child. There was some screaming before the knight got up and looked around confused. On the other side of the sandbox the boy climbed out of the sand. He looked like he was sobbing.
“FINALLY!” The knight exclaimed. He ran towards the child, but seeing this the child panicked. The sand gathered around his body and he disappeared. “QUITE THE ADVANTAGE.” The knight said and he stopped moving. He was observing the creature as it sniffed the air. The knight let it go and the creature ran towards a specific spot where the sand spit out the child. The creature clasped onto the child’s gown and dragged him over to the knight.
“WILL YOU LOOK AT THAT! A SECONDARY ELEMENTAL! THAT’S ALL FOR TODAY, GO BACK TO YOUR HOLES.”
