Day 11

20 2 1

1 week 4 days (morning) (112-77 children) (7 special)

The little girl’s leg felt weird. She had even more trouble walking on it, she would’ve liked if someone helped her, but she didn’t know who to ask. The knight was back again. He said he wanted to do the same thing he did yesterday because it was working so well. The little girl had a horrible headache and was starved and thirsty. She saw that the other kids were as equally tired.

The little girls heart stopped when he pointed at her first. She was half relieved because that meant he could carry her and half horrified of what was going to happen.

He set her down on the sand and she was happy that the dead bodies were gone. The creature snarled. The knight said nothing and he stood as still as she had seen him be for everyone else. She gulped. The creature however was moving a lot. Its tail kept swinging back and forth and its tongue licked its teeth.

Without warning it latched onto her foot and started to casually gnaw on it. The little girl understood now why some had screamed and she screamed in panic and pain.

“NO! STOP! STOP IT! GO AWAY!” The creature stopped and looked up in confusion. It looked up at the knight.

“OH WHAT HAVE WE HERE? DRAGON MASTER EH?” He said grabbing the little girls arm. The little girl looked up in surprise. She was special? “SIT THERE AND DON’T MOVE.” He said as he set her beside him.

He called for more of the children to come and forced her to watch as he let the dragon devour the children as they screamed. All the children that were not special died. The little girl hid her face in her arms so she wouldn’t look as he tortured more children.

Finally another special child reacted. When the dragon bit this girl she screamed and it fell dead.

“AH THAT’S INTERESTING! A DEATH BRINGER!” He exclaimed. “WELL THAT’S IT FOR TODAY.” He said to the others as he tucked both the girls under his arms.

The little girl grabbed on to the clinks of armor, suddenly afraid of what might come next.

Nothing could be worse than this right?
