6 days (morning) (397-216 children) (4 special)
They had been pushed out of their holes the moment the sun came up. The little girl had had her bullet removed and her wound closed. She couldn’t walk on her leg however. She now empathized with the five other kids who couldn’t either.
The place was empty and the children began to mutter. Now that they knew words, they were using them a lot. Not with each other however. They seemed too scared to communicate with others so instead they talked with their feet and hands.
The little girl let herself fall to the ground so her leg wouldn’t have to bear the weight. It saved her life. Three arrows, one which whizzed over her head, shot out of her sight and hit three kids, all three instantly died. Screams of shock filled the air and nobody moved.
Four arrows were shot, four kids fell dead. This time the children ran for their holes, shaking the bars and crying. Saying they were sorry for things they hadn’t done.
Ten arrows were shot, nine kids died. One of the kids had managed to dodge it. After that chaos installed as arrows were shot from everywhere constantly. Then the arrows began to be shot in a specific pattern. They would sweep from one end to another, to basically eliminate all. A few were agile enough to jump, others not so lucky.
The little girl could only watch in horror as the wave came ever so closer. She didn’t have the capability to jump and the arrows were too low for her to duck. It was her luck when two kids did something amazing at the same time.
One was Stone, the dark skinned boy, he held up his hands in an effort to shield himself and a blue energy field surrounded him, the arrows deflected off. The other was a red haired girl, whom from her hands spouted fire that burned the arrows. One reached her leg and she fell to the ground in pain. The arrows stopped. The knight came out, and the little girl was starting to notice a pattern. He grabbed both children, Stone fought before realizing it was useless.
“WHAT A LUCKY DAY! ANOTHER PRIMARY ELEMENTAL AND A PHYSICAL PROTECTION!” He exclaimed before heading off. The bars opened and the kids swarmed back in.
That day, over a hundred kids had been killed.
