As cliche as it may sound,
Words are powerful.
It may change the world,
It may lead the planet to the right track.
A speech can ignite someone's heart,
A book can cure ignorance.
It can be the purveyor of truth,
It can save someone's soul.
As much as words can be beautiful,
There's always two sides of a coin.
With all the lies spoken
In the history of the Earth,
It resulted to the whole world
Becoming more toxic than ever.
Politicians speaks of broken promises,
That eventually lead to corruption.
We indulge ourselves to beautiful words,
Not knowing that all are lies.
We breath the toxicity of our tongues
And it's slowly killing us down.
