I think I love you
I think I'd choose you over books.

Actually, I think I love you just as much,
Or even more
Than I do books

The romance began when I was small
the pages seduced me
And the words entranced me
For years upon years I squeezed myself into the spines
That bind becoming a welcoming embrace
The smell, intoxicating
It was drool inspiring and
Just touching, gave my heart an explosion

I thought that was love. I felt like I knew what it was. Books. The emotions.

Then you prowled on over, and without giving me a chance to inhale, you swept me away.

I think I love you
I'd choose you over books
