Chapter 1: The Break-up

“Cass, Baka naman gusto mong Dalian diyan diba?”

“Wag ka ngang atat. Magkikita din naman kayo ni Cedric mamaya kaya chill ka lang ha.”

Chill? Paano ako magre-relax kung late na kaya kami sa party? I already wasted an hour waiting for my Bestfriend para lang matapos siya sa pag-aayos ng sarili niya.

“Haven’t you realized that you’re not the highlight of that party?” Sarkartikong tanong ko sa kanya. Tatalbugan pa ata ako nito sa face eh.

“Alright. I’m already done.” She even raised her two hands as a sign of giving-up. Alam ko naman na wala siyang laban sa kin eh. Bakit naman kasi ngayon lang ako nagreklamo kung sana kanina ko pa ginawa edi nakaalis na kami. Stupid ME.

Before that I would like to introduce myself. Hi I'm Lian Nadine Lee-Ferrer 16 years old. You can call me Lian if you want to and if not then don't. chos. 1st year college in UP diliman. Theatre arts student. I'm also ---

“Let’s go. I thought you are in a hurry, bakit nakatanga ka pa diyan?”

“Tss.”

Dali-dali naman akong tumakbo papasok ng sasakyan niya. I doesn’t have a car kasi I’m not that rich compared to my friends. Hello, pangkain din yun noh. Marami ka ng mabibiling foods dun at bakit pa ako bibili kung pwede naman makisabay sa mga kaibigan ko. Hindi na ko nagcommute, tipid pa sa pamasahe o diba may angking talino din ako hahahhahah XD.

After 30 minutes nakarating na din kami sa venue. It’s not that far , sa bar lang naman ni Alex gaganapin yung party. 30 minutes away lang naman yung layo mula sa bahay namin kung may car ka pero out of the way kung magko-commute buti na lang talaga mayaman ang friends ko. Lahat ng friends ko mayayaman except me. Although I used to be one of them but unfortunately my Dad died kaya isa-isa ding nawala lahat ng pagmamay-ari namin. Pero I’m lucky to have friends like them kasi they accept me eventhough we’re not rich like them and they all understand my situation.

I went inside first kasi ipaparada pa ni Cass yung car niya. By the way highway, She's Cassandra Heather, owner of  some huge hotels here in manila, my one and only bestfriend. Ay hindi pala may isa pa pala akong bff pero sa next chapter niyo siya mamimeet. Pagpasok na pagpasok ko palang, hinanap ko na si Sean. I searched everywhere but he’s nowhere to be found until someone approached me from behind.

“Looking for someone?” I didn’t recognize that  voice cau’z I’m busy searching but I know that he's a guy.

“Yeah, Actually I’m looking for my boyfriend.” I still didn’t look at him.

“Piece of advice. Turn around and maybe his in your back.” I heard him smirked at me. And then, that voice sounds familiar. I turn around to see the person behind me. “Now, have you seen your Boyfrien-“ Hindi ko na siya pinatapos dahil bigla ko nalang siyang hinug.

“Sean, Its you. I thought you were somebody.” Kumawala muna ako sa pagkahug ko sa kanya. I look at him and ofcourse he’s laughing at me.

“Haven’t you recognize my voice?” he asked. I swear, I didn’t noticed that he’s the one who’s behind me.

“I’m sorry. I was busy searching you so that I didn’t noticed that it was you.” Tumungo na lang ako. He held my chin at inangat ang ulo ko. He smiled and held my hand.

“Let’s go. Hinihintay na nila tayo.” I nodded.

Hinila niya lang ako papunta sa place kung saan nakaupo yung iba naming friends. Nandun na pala si Cass di ko man lang napansin at nauna pa sakin, Tss.
