{Zachs POV}

I quietly walked into the crowded mall, keeping to myself . The vans store was always my first stop, so I walked in to see what money I could waste on shoes I didn't need.

After a few minutes of looking, I felt a small tug on the bottom of my shirt. I placed The shoes that I had down on the shelf and look beside me. "Hello!" A small curly haired toddler in a dress said, staring up at me. I bent down to her height. "Oh um... hello. Where are your parents cutie?" I asked her looking around. "I don't know where my daddy went." She frowned. She looked to be around 3 years old. "What's your name darling?" I asked. "Jaden." She said with a grin. "I'm Zach." I told her.

"Do you want me to help you find your daddy?" I asked. She nodded excitedly and climbed into my arms, taking me aback. "So what do your parents look like?" I asked. "I don't have a mommy, but my daddy has curly hair and brown eyes." She Said. I smiled at her widely and stood up, her in my arms.

I looked around the store. Every isle, every where I could, but there was no sign of a curly haired man anywhere. "Hmmm..." I hummed, confused. "Jaden I don't see him." I said and looked at her. She didn't respond and I quickly noticed she was fast asleep, which meant I was fucked.

The intercom blasted in my ears, causing me to cover hers immediately. "We are looking for a small child with curly hair and a lavender dress. She goes by the name of Jaden. If you find her, please bring her up to the information desk ASAP." It said before shutting off and continuing to play the radio.

I smiled widely as I walked out of the store to look for the desk. I saw a large sign that read "information booth and bathrooms ahead." "Praise the lord." I whispered as I walked carefully to the desk.

As I neared, I noticed a young man who looked about my age, pacing the floor in front of the desk. And sure enough, he had the curliest hair id ever seen.

"Found him." I said to myself with a grin. I walked to him quickly, tapping his arms. "Excuse me sir?" I asked, making him flip around quickly. "I believe this belongs to you." I said. He smiled and held his chest, as if saying he had a heart attack.

He shook her awake gently and her eyes fluttered open. She rubbed them lightly. She squealed and jumped into his arms with a giggle. "Where did you go Princess?" He asked with a slight chuckle. "The shoe store!" She said. "I saw a nice man go in there so I followed him for you." She said pointing at me.

Her dad blushed. "She must have heard me talking to my mom." He chuckled loudly. I blushed too before sticking my hands in my pockets.

"Thank you." He said with a grin, almost identical to Jadens. "I'm Jack. Jadens dad." He said. "Zach. Zach Herron." I said while shaking his hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you." He said. "The pleasure is all mine". I said with a chuckle.

"I wanna go home." Jaden whined loudly. Jack nodded. "Could I maybe have your number?" Jack asked, Jaden staring at him. I nodded and handed him a piece of paper.

"Can we take Zach home with us? Maybe he could stay with the cat!" Jaden giggled. Jack blushed and smiled. "I wouldn't mind a day over." I said. Jack smiled and grabbed my hand, walking towards the exit.

He opened the passenger door for me before placing Jaden in her car seat and buckling her up. I climbed in and shut the door as he did the same on his side.

We pulled into a parking garage a few minutes later and walked into a huge nice apartment in down town Los Angeles.
"Woah." I gasped at the amazing home.

"So. Where you from?" He asked me. "Dallas" I said. "Oh neat. I'm from Pennsylvania." He chuckled. "I just graduated high school this last year so I moved to LA." I said. "So you're 18?" He asked with a smile. "17." I corrected him. "I'm 18 and Jaden is 2." He said. "So you had a baby when you were 16?" I asked in awe. He nodded nervously.

"I went to a high school party, got drunk and got some random girl pregnant. When Jaden was born she gave her to me and left to god knows where." Jack huffed. "Oh man. I'm so sorry." I said. He smiled. "It was the best thing that ever happened to me, if I'm being honest." He said. I smiled and sipped my glass of water.

"And adding to it I had just figured out I was Bisexual." He said with a smile. "Really? I'm Bi too!" I exclaimed. He smirked.

"Maybe we can get to know each other better some time." He said. I knew what he was implying. "I know we've just met, but i was wondering if you'd go out with me." I asked. He nodded.

"Jaden is gonna be so pumped." Jack said with a smile.
