Daniels tears spilled down his face as he looked me in the eyes. He turned around and sprinted up the stairs, not looking back. I knew what he was doing. I tried to stop him but I couldn't. He shut the bathroom door, locking it behind him. "DANIEL NO PLEASE." I pounded on the door in tears.

The sounds of cabinets opening and closing echoed around my bedroom from inside the closed bathroom door. "DANIEL PLEASE!" I sobbed into the door, on my knees.

A pop noise echoed out, then a rattling, then a thud and a clatter. "DANIEL!" I screamed. I kicked down the wooden bathroom door, sending wood pieces flying everywhere.

Daniel was laying on the floor, passed out cold. He was paler than I had ever seen him. I screamed and cried, pulling his body into my lap. "HELP! SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!" I screamed as loud as possible. I rubbed his cheeks lightly, crying into his chest.

Zach, Jack and Jonah ran into the room to see Daniel and I. "Oh my god Daniel!" Zach yelled. "No no no no no!" Jonah yelled. He stepped over the broken door. "Pick him up we gotta go!" Jack yelled, sprinting back down the stairs and running to Jonahs car. He started it and popped open the door for me.

I climbed in, Daniels lifeless body laying in my lap. I sobbed into his striped shirt, soaking it with my tears. I watched him get paler and paler as we zoomed down the streets.

The radio played a song, loudly.

Loving and fighting
Accusing, denying
I can't imagine a world with you gone
The joy and the chaos,

I'd be so lost if you left me alone

Zach glanced at me, noticing the tears rolling down my cheeks and the quiet whimpers escaping my lips. He wiped away one of his own tears before turning to the radio.

He reached for the station dial to change it. "No." I said. He returned back to his seat and watched me cradle Daniel in my arms.

You locked yourself in the bathroom,
Laying on the floor when I break through,
I pulled you in to feel your heartbeat,
Can you hear me screaming "please don't leave me?"

I silently cried and cried as we neared the hospital. "Please, Daniel don't leave me. Our story is just beginning." I sobbed. Jack let out a choked sob before going silent.

A long endless highway,

Driving a nightmare I can't escape from
Helplessly praying the light isn't fading
Hiding the shock and the chill in my bones

"Why did you do it Daniel god damnit!" Jonah let out a choked sob while quickly speeding into the emergency room parking lot.

They took you away on a table
I pace back and forth as you lay still
They pull you in to feel your heartbeat
Can you hear me screaming "please don't leave me" ?
