i sighed.

  "Hope,it's not that i don't want to,it's just that..."

  i looked down towards the floor.

  a sudden rush of emotions came towards me.

  "I just stepped into this place with a weird concept,and now people are telling me to join a gang."

  "It's just so overwhelming,"

  "Sure,I would like to fight,kill,seduce but,I will not have the commitment you would all expect."

  "Who knows,I can easily sabotage your plans and run back home."

  i paused,feeling my cheeks starting to become wet.

  i was still staring at the floor,biting my cheeks,but i knew he was looking.

  "But would you?I know we only met but I know you are loyal,"

  J-hope asked,making me look up after wiping my tears away.

  "After,well,stalking your house,we saw everything."

  "You do have a dad,but he loves to abuse your mom."

  J-hope looked at me with pity.

  "But,whenever he does it,you defend your mom,even when you get bruises,you still defend like a loyal soldier."

  that made me stop tearing up,the way he phrase it made me proud.

"Then why won't you let me go?Why won't you let me defend my mom like the loyal soldier I am?"

  i asked with a frown.

"You don't have to,Namjoon had made an anonymous call to the police to report about him,"

"But,why?"

  i asked with pure confusion.

  "Namjoon sees potential in you when you defended her.He sees your determination.That's why he purposely told Tae to kidnap you."

  I stepped back,shock with the news.

  "We knew it was the wrong house but still stalked you,well,after our real business was done."

  "It was all a show,but don't worry,your mom is in a better state.She is given help from the community."

  "Sure we do bad things,but we have a heart."

  "And,if you do want to go back home,i will ask Namjoon."

  J-hope sighed,looking like he regretted what he had said.

  after that,he went out of the kitchen.

  i looked at his back until he was gone.All this while,everything was just a show.

  But they helped my mom and cared for her,should i accept their invitation?
