CHAPTER 5
He’s doing this so casually, we don’t even know your name Mr. Good looks. I thought.
Peach didn’t waste a moment on us, “Jayden leave me to my place?”
“Sure bye kids,” So his name is Jayden.
That’s how we met. Three months had passed and a new boy arrived. He looked my age but later I got to know he was 7. His name was Zade.
We stayed in that huge mansion together for four years. We went to a school with rich kids. We stayed together most of the time. Girls use to give me death glares in school. They would give anything to be in my place.
Zade was eleven but he was easily one of the most popular boys in school. He didn’t show any interest in girls unlike the other three. He got the best grades. I don’t think he knows my name. Well how would he? I haven’t told him at all.
Ace was easily the school jock. He was in the rugby team. When he took off his helmet and winked at the big audience, who just came to see him, they would shriek like crazy. No seriously they did come only to see him. I doubt they even know the name of teams.
“Which team are you supporting?” I asked a redhead who wore huge glasses.
“Boy…umm…well...which team is Ace on?” She said kind of abashed.
“Blue tigers.” I said trying not to make her feel uncomfortable.
“Oh yes Blue Tigers! It suits him so perfectly. Oh the tiger of my heart!” She was talking to herself.
But I have ears and I could hear her and was feeling nauseous.
While Ace knew he did that to girls, you know make them crazy, Will had no idea. He just wrote poems and played his guitar alone in a corner.
Girls would say 'Hi Will!' with their elastic smiles.
He’d say “Hi Cherry” with his perfect accent and dreamy smile.
News flash, Cherry has fallen head over heels for Will. Hmm…..Surprising. (NOT)
Then a bleached blond haired girl would come and sit beside him and ask, “You’re writing a poem?”
“Yes! How did you know?” Will’s happy now. He loves his poems. I wanted to scream everybody knows you fool.
“Could you recite it…..for me?” now she's blushing.
“Sure.” Will says too quickly. The “recite it” was good enough for him to do so. He recites the poem which sucks to be honest. It’s his to-die-for voice which makes the girl go to seventh heaven.
Then she leaves thinking this was the best day of her life. Poor girl, she thinks he wrote the poem for her. He actually wrote about a pen stand.
Jayden’s in college and he has kissed more girls than you can count. Everybody in the school still remembers him for getting loads of detention and obviously his macho good looks.
