4: Officially a "loner"

Tiff decided that she was gonna get food. Since I brought my own I decided to wait here by the lockers for her but she had other company so I didn't mind sitting alone. I was hiding my darkest, deepest secret from everyone here. Every day I put on green contacts and a sleek black wig to make myself look unrecognizable. If they found out who I really am and fried chicken.

I'm a singer, one of the most popular teenage singers and my stage name is Draetiel. If they found out who I am, I get the attention and this is not what I came here to do. I wanted to be a normal girl too so moving to New York had a really big impact on my life. Ugh.......... its been 15 mins and Tiffany ain't here.

Suddenly the mystery guy comes by and sees me by the lockers, alone. I try to hide my face and act as if I haven't seen him. I am so not going to be a laughing stalk. Suddenly, Me and my clumsiness, I bump my head on the locker making that weird dead bird hit a tree noise. 

"Hi," he says, I look at him and reply back. "Um... Hey". My heart was beating so fast like I went to space and came back to earth. I could smell his sweet, fresh cologne. He came closer then whispered in my ear "are you okay?". Why is he talking to me, I know I'm a singer but I feel normal now so... let me be. Softly I reply "I'm fine". He smirks and then this girl comes rushing to give a hug.

"Zachariah!!...... I missed u, baby". Oh, his name is Zachariah.

He smirks at me "I missed u too". The girl gives me a disgusted look as if she saw me as one of the poor children 

"Eww...baby who's this loner?" she asks twirling her blond hair and rolling her blue beady eyes. 

He looks at her "Natalie" he raises his brow and introduces her to me. "Adriel... this is Natalie Cooper". 

"I'm his girlfriend" she says pointing to herself and then she gives me a petty look. 

"Natalia this is Adriel" Zach introduces me and I wave unenthusiastically. This gurl gives me bad vibes already.

"Nice to meet you". I try shaking her hand but she refuses.

 She takes Zach's hand and says "You touch him... I swear u will regret it". I roll my eyes her presence. 

"You ain't gon see tomorrow if u keep this disrespect on". I stand up and yell "Try me". She gets up to pull my hair and she misses. "Is that all you got?" I ask her and Zach pulls her away. He gives me a symbol saying sorry. 

I know ya'll be thinking, it's your first day but from my pov, I have done absolutely nothing to this gurl. Her guy came to me, it's not like I was interested in him or something 

They walk away and he mumbles "U broke a leg last time". I wait for Tiff but she still ain't coming. I take a walk down the hallway and I meet my worst nightmare. Jayden Porter.

 I walk up trying to avoid him for I will never forget what he did to me. He gets closer and I feel myself tensing up, thinking about the pain that situation caused (happened 6 years ago). 

"Hi......what are you doing here?" he asks and gives me a smirk. I walk away as if I can't see him right in front of me. He pulls my arm to touch me and I use my other arm to strike back. 

"Don't! you dare Touch me!". His eyes open wide and he starts to chuckle. 

"Okay princess, your wish is my command". I run away and start to get teary. I'm not safe here, I don't feel safe here either.

 "Whoah....take it easy buttercup " I hear someone say as I bump into a hard chest. I notice it Harrison and notice how tall he is too. Harrison picks me up as he tries to study me and my problem. 

"Sorry" I cup my face and wipe my tears off then he lifts my head up. 

"Whats wrong Adriel.....are you okay?". I reply 

"It's just a headache... I'm alright," I say telling a little white lie.

"Ok Adriel... I'm gonna be here for u lets got to math"

We take a walk as I eat my burger and he gives me a tour and student info. He wasn't that bad after all.
