So, to make up for my disappearance, I'm going to throw up a bunch of oneshots to get back on schedule! I have requests I need to complete, but I just wanted to put up some of my other oneshots first. I got really excited over writing these, so, sorry for those who are waiting for their requests! I hope you enjoy this one, as I had fun writing it!
You grumble as you pick at your plate of food; you're a fighter! You're not some... Some... Boring civilian! You are one of the few remaining Saiyans alive, you're a warrior! You huff as you set your fork down on the plate in front of you. Why did you even bother staying on this planet?
You had originally come to this planet with your prince and another warrior after the death of your older brother, Raditz. While attempting to bring Kakarot back home, the two of them died facing each other. At least you got to learn of the Dragon Balls... After a year's travel you arrived on Earth, where you were greeted by the planet's strongest warriors. The youngest, your nephew, interested you far more than your own group. After Nappa made it known that all of the 'Z-Fighters' were going to die, you turned on the brute. You weren't going to stand and watch your remaining family die. In the final battle, you and your twin fought together to drive off Vegeta. Since that fight, you were a guardian of the planet.
"What's with the sour face?" Gohan asks as he takes a seat at your table. You give him a weak glare but sigh regardless.
"Just bored is all," you admit, tilting your head. "I've been... In a rut, I guess," you explain, leaning back in your seat. "Nothing is too interesting anymore. I don't feel challenged when I fight, and I feel like this peace is never going to end." Gohan watches you for a moment before running a hand through his hair.
"Man, you and Dad really are twins," he chuckles, which makes you crack a smirk. "If you're so bored, why don't you train with him?" You shake your head, which makes Gohan raise a brow. "You're practically equals, so what's the big deal?"
"I've fought Kakarot far too many times. Neither of us have grown since our last fight... It's the same thing every time," you sigh. "It's gotten to the point where I can predict all of his moves before he uses them, and vice versa." Gohan looks around before opening his mouth. "And Vegeta is out of the question." He closes his mouth and tilts his head.
"Well, I don't know what to tell you," Gohan admits. You send your nephew and amused look before rubbing your face. "It looks like Videl's calling me, gotta go."
"See you," you hum before picking up your fork. Your food, (F\F), is utterly destroyed by now. You're not alone for too long, however, as a chair is moved and someone sits where Gohan was. When you glance up, fear strikes you. "L-Lord Beerus," you say quickly, sitting straight. "To what do I owe the pleasure?" Despite his many appearances at these parties, you've never been alone with him. In fact, you're certain you've never held a conversation.
"I overheard your little conversation with that boy," Beerus says as he inspects his nails. "You say you're bored, hm?" You nod slowly, nervous as to what he's thinking. To be completely honest, Beerus frightens you. One wrong word and the planet is destroyed! "Well, I've happen to be bored myself," the God admits. "I think you and I can help each other."
"I-If you don't mind me asking, what do you have in mind?" you question, tilting your head.
"Whis spends all his time training those idiots, and I find that I have nothing to do. So I figured, why don't I take on a student of my own?" Your eyes grow wide, which makes him smirk. "Have I caught your attention now?"
