[we go to the hospital and go into a room Maggie says:]

"Caroline sweetheart why don't you come out here and let Dr. Halstead work?"

"My name is Jo!"

"Maggie it's fine."

[We're all going over the case when Chief Boden, Casey, Severide, and Hermann walk in. Kevin says:]

"What's going on?"

"Sargent Voight, Seargent Platt, Halstead and Lindsay can we talk for a minute?"

"Yea."[We go into the office Boden says:]

"Halstead where are your kids?"

"Camryn and JJ are with my parents and Cam should be at Trudy's I mean unless she went to one of her friends houses."

"No she went to Trudy's. I told her she could spend the night if she wanted to because we're working late."

"We were dispatched to your house. Caroline."

"Her name is Josephine."

"My apologies. Jo called 911 because she found Mouch laying face down with multiple stab wounds."

"Where is my husband?"

"Where's my daughter?"

"At Med."

[Erin and Platt both come out of the office grabbing their coats I ask:]

"What's wrong?"

"No time to explain."[We leave getting into my car I flip the sirens on and speed towards Med Platt says:]

"I can't lose him."

"Dammit get out of the way!"

"There's been an accident. We're not gonna get through Lindsay."

"Hold onto something."[I put the car in reverse stomping on the gas I take a sharp left turn going down a backroad Platt says:]

"Where are you going? This is the wrong way!"

"Trudy just trust me."

[I'm sitting in the waiting room Ethan brings over some clothes and says:]

"Brought you some clothes if you want to get out of those blood soaked ones."

"What's taking so long?"

"They're in surgery it's gonna take a while. Can I get you anything are you hungry?"

"I need your daughter."

"Hey Halstead. What do you need me to do?"

"I need to take a walk. I hate hospitals."[Frankie and I go on a walk we sit down on a bench she wraps her arms around me and kisses my head and says:]

"I know you're scared. You can let it out."

"If I do then I won't be able to stop and I have to be strong for my grandpa."

"Just because you're strong doesn't mean you can't break down every once in a while Jo."

"Like I said if I let myself cry then I won't be able to stop. Can we just sit here?"

"Yea."

[twenty minutes later we go back into the hospital Mom and Grandma are talking to the firefighters I run over and hug Grandma she says:]

"Hey. It's okay he's gonna be fine."

"But what if he's not?"

"We can't think like that."[Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Bekker come out of the O-R Jo and I go over to them she asks:]
