*Frankie's pov*

[I go to her house and knock she opens the door and says:]

"Francesca."

"Hi Mom."

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm pregnant and it's a little girl. I'm a chef with my own restaurant."

"I know. I was at the opening and it was in the papers."

"Really? You were there? Why didn't you come over and say something?"

"You had April and Ethan there. You didn't need me."

"Barbara I still need you even though I have my parents. Why didn't you fight to take Kelly with you when you went back to take care of your mom? He needed you and you left him! You abandoned him!"

"There was nothing I could do about it. Kelly didn't have a passport yet so I couldn't take him with me even though I was adopting him. I'm just glad that he found a family who loves him."

"You made me feel wanted and I will never forget what you did for me and Logan and Kelly. You gave us a home and a safe space. Thank you Barbara."

"I'm proud of you Francesca."

"I'm proud of me too."[I get a cab to my favorite food truck the owner sees me and says:]

"No way! Francesca!"

"Hey Spence! It's so good to see you again. I was kind of worried about you."

"Yea I know I got the flowers and the gift baskets and the food. After Max left I just didn't want to be out. I'm sorry that I haven't gotten back up with you."

"I'm pregnant and I was looking for someone who I can trust to take over the restaurant when I'm on maternity leave."

"How far?"

"Second trimester twenty weeks along and it's a girl."

"That's amazing. Congratulations."

"I want you to be my partner Spence. There's no one that I trust more with my business. You can even use your recipes if you want to."

"Okay. I'm in. You wanna go out for drinks? I know this really great place all nonalcoholic drinks."

"Yea. Hey Spence I still remember how you gave me the money to start the restaurant and well here."[I pull out an envelope give it to Spence and say:]"Thank you for everything."

"I always knew you'd be great someday."

*Derek's pov*

[Nobody has heard from Frankie all afternoon it's 6pm I'm making dinner when April says:]

"Need some help?"

"Sure. Anything?"

"No. Nobody has heard from her. I'm sure that she's okay though. How's med school?"

"Hard. Way harder than I thought but I'm doing good. It's stressful dealing with the baby and Frankie and med school but it's all worth it."

"You're gonna be just fine Derek."

[7:00pm Spence drops me off at the house I hug her and say:]

"Thank you so much for listening and for everything. Do you want to stay for dinner?"

"My mom is waiting for me. Thank you though."

"Come by the restaurant tomorrow I'll introduce you to the staff and show you how I run everything."
