*KyungMi's POV*

I ran down the hallway and out of the palace. I went to the back where the stables were and asked the stablehand to prepare a carriage for me. He told me that I would need to wait about an hour while he prepared everything and got the driver. Part of me wanted to slap him but I kept myself composed as a princess should. I went back into the Palace and found my sister JinHee walking out of the Palace Library. "Hey KyungMi, she said as she saw me, what are you up to?" "Nothing really... I'm just trying to keep myself busy for a while." "Aww Kyung are you still going through the motions over JongDae? Just forget him it's gonna be okay. Maybe we can get Mimi to have him banned from ever returning to the country" she said with a chuckle. I laughed too. I didnt want to tell her about his letter or that I was actually only keeping myself busy while waiting so I could go meet him. She put her hand on my shoulder."I'm going to meet Tao in the tower I'll see you later." I smiled and waved at her.

When the hour was up I went back down to the stables where a carriage sat ready with a driver and horse. I thanked the stablehand and climbed aboard. We took off just as the evening sun was beginning to set. If he stayed true to his word in his letter he would be waiting for me soon.We travelled for 2 more hours though it felt like an eternity. We reached the border just as the sun dissappeared behind the steep cliffs in SiSeo. I peeked out of the carriage but there was no sign of him. I sat back down in a huff and asked the driver to alert me if he saw anything. The waiting was agonizing and I was beginning to lose hope more and more as the sky became darker. I poked my head out of the carriage to tell the driver I was ready to return to the palace when i saw a coach approching in the distance. My heart raced with excitement. I straightened my dress and stepped out. I stood near the front of the carriage as the couch rolled to a stop just behind the borderline.I waited anxiously for a moment but when nothing happened I turned back to go home. Thats when I heard him. "KyungMi?!" he called. My heart skipped a beat as I quickly turned again to see him standing there. "JongDae!!" I screamed as I raced over to him and crashed against his chest like a crack of thunder. He held me tighly and breathed in the scent of my hair. "I thought you hated me, he said, I didnt think you would ever come." I sobbed. "I thought you forgot about me" I said. We stood there holding eachother for what felt like forever. Forever wasn't long enough. We went back into his coach and talked all night, apologizing to eachother for everything that had happened. As the sun began to rise again from under the cliffs in Siseo to meet the rolling hills of Changsham I fell asleep in his arms. Yes, there was a place that I had to be... but no where I would rather be.

*MiYoung's POV*

I woke up feeling excited and ill all at the same time. It was the morning of my wedding and the fear was returning once again. I got out of bed and cleaned and dressed myself. It was still very early and the sun hadn't risen yet. I put on my slippers and headed down the hall. I needed to walk to clear my head. On my way out to the rose garden for fresh air I saw a light coming from YiXing's office. I opened  the door slightly and peeked inside. I saw him looking very angry while clutching a letter in his hands. He was almost snarling and his skin was red. I knocked lightly and he quickly folded the letter and hit it in his desk. "Come in" he said as he composed himself. "Goodmorning your majesty~" I said. "Ahh good morning My Lady, he said as a faint smile played upon his face, why are you awake so early?" I giggled. "I could ask you the same, I said, whats wrong? You didnt come to bed and now you're still awake... we're getting married in about 5 hours." He motioned for me to come sit on his lap and I did. He nuzzled his face into my neck as he spoke. "Thats so long from now" he said with a chuckle. I smiled. "It'll be here before we know it" I said. I kissed him and patted him on the shoulder. "Soon, you'll be my husband, and I'll be your wife. Are you afraid?" I asked. "No, not of that, he said as his eyes suddenly looked sorrowful, I want you to know that I love you with all my heart and I would never hurt you intentionally." I furrowed my eyebrows. "I know that YiXing, I said, but whats wrong?" "Nothing, he said, I just need you to know that as King I will sometimes have to do things I don't want to do and there will be times that we don't agree on my decisions." "Don't worry, I said,as your Queen and your wife I will always respect your decisons." He let out a deep sigh and hugged me tightly. "I hope to god you still feel that way......." his words trailed off as he pressed his face into my chest. He let out a deep sigh and then kissed me. "Go back to bed, he said, we have five hours until our wedding."

*JinHee's POV*

The moment had finally come. The chapel was decorated, everyone important was here, the feast had been prepared and KyungMi had just arrived. Everything was in place and we were all waiting for MiYoung to walk down the aisle. I heard the trumpets blare and everyone stood. I watched as YiXing's face brightened as the large doors opened. MiYoung marched down the aisle accompanied by my oldest sister KyungMi who looked like she had just woken up 2 minutes before she ran through the Palace to get here in time. The dress mas magnificent. The fabric was a glowing white with gold and red accents, Changsha's national colors. She smiled brightly and I was so happy for her. My baby sister was getting married. When she reached the alter KyungMi stood beside me and they exchanged vows. As they shared their first kiss as husband and wife I felt my heart swoon. They walked out of the chapel and appeared on the balcony for the first time to all of their subjects as the new King and Queen. All of the guests headed into the banquet hall to enjoy the wedding feast and as I was about to sit I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned to see Tao standing beside me."You look absolutly beautiful" he said as he wrapped me into his arms and kissed me. If I had lighter skin I would blush. "Tao~~ stop it we're supposed to be on our best behavior its a royal wedding." "The wedding is over" he said as he kissed me again. I kissed him back then pushed him away. "Stop~" I said with a chuckle. He laughed and then pulled out my chair for me. He sat next to me just as the feast was starting. I looked over at him and smiled. "Good boy~" I said as he opened his napkin and tucked it into his collar. He smiled and then leaned over and whispered into my ear. "I'll behave now but after this dinner is over you're all mine."

*HeeYoung's POV*

I sat in the sun room with SeHun. It was so great to see him out of bed and smiling again. His mother was so happy and had even began to petition King Kangta to allow us to marry. We were talking about a vacation we would like to take together to visit the ruins of my homeland Valhallia. SeHun was showing me a place on an old map when the doors bursted opened. "Kangta Don't!, Queen BoA cried, Kangta don't you dare our son has been through enough!!. SeHun and I both wore shocked expressions as 6 guards and King Kangta entered the room. Before we could react any further the guards grabbed me and started to pull me out of the room. I shook and tried to break free but they held me tightly. "Father! Father stop it! please stop! Dad I'm begging you!" SeHun cried. "Oh come now son, he said rather smuggly, this is not my doing. Truthfully I was starting to grow fond of the girl. This is someone else." "If not you then WHO?!?" I yelled as I struggled against the guards. "Your new brother-in-law, he said with a wicked smile, I would ask you to give her my regards but you won't be seeing your sister. You my dear are going to see your mother." My eyes widened as his words rocked through my body. The guards pulled me out into a carriage and we rode back to ChangSha. They ripped me out and dragged me into the throne room. Only a few weeks ago I had been in this same position but instead of my attacker being my fiance's father it was my sister's husband. Why was my family so complicated? I was kneeling when YiXing entered the room with two more guards following him. He didn't look happy. "I hope you think about what you're doing everytime you look at my sister. She will never forgive you for this!" I shouted. He sighed heavily. "I know, he said, I will never forgive myself." He tried to explain why he was doing what he was doing but it fell on deaf ears. My blood was boiling in anger. I spat at him. He wiped it from his face and put his head down. "Please HeeYoung, he said, obey your king and drink the poison. You won't feel a thing." I refused. One of the guards tried to force the vial tip past my lips and i bit his finger. YiXing wore a tortured expression. He sighed once more. "You refuse to drink it?"He said. "I wont do it" I said. "Very well then, he said, He walked over to me and removed my amulette from my neck. He slipped it into his pocket and whispered "Don't worry I will give this to him for you."

He looked up at the guards holding me and delivered his sentence coldly. "Behead her" he said. I tried to scream but the guard stuffed an old rag in my mouth. They carted me off to the chopping block and as my head lay on the cold slab of stone I cried. Not for myself but for SeHun. I heard a rush of wind a my executioner raised his axe and my world faded to black.
