Ezra Pov

I came back to the hotel but I feel something is wrong. The more I come close to the room I feel that something happen to Elena.

I open the door and saw that her luggage was gone. Gone with her.

Flashback

Tumor. What the hell. My sunshine can't die. I just got her back. She can't die. We are one. And if she die, I will die too.

Ok so this game of hide and seek is becoming annoying now. Let me just find her, I will make sure that this game ends.

It is time it over. There would be no secret between us. She will tell me everything now. As soon as I
found her she will tell me everything. I will make sure that there would be a happy ending for us.

I opened the application that can tell the location of Elena. Ok so I have put a tracker in the ring that I
gave Elena for our marriage. I hope that she did not removed the ring or that the ring is still with her.

She is back home. She is not at her real home which is with me. She is back at the previous home. This is
more accurate.

‘’Hello, can you a ticket for me back home and don’t forget to tell my driver to wait for me at the airport.
Thank you.’’ I inform Beck, someone who work for me. I put back my phone in my pocket and started to
do my packing. I need to get back my wife. It felt good to say my wife. She is my wife finally.

After a long flight while thinking of my wife, I am finally at her previous home. I knocked at the door
waiting for her to open it so that we can finally solved our issues like a normal couple which we are not.

And there she is, my sunshine, the love of my life, my wife.

‘’What are doing here Ezra?’’ She asked me. ‘’ No hello husband or how are you husband of mine.’’ I
replied back. ‘’ Don’t get me started on the fact that you drugged me to marry you’’ She said.

‘’ We will do another marriage if you want with you not drug this if you want.’’ I said, knowing that this is
not the answer that she want. ‘’ Ezra…’’ I put the finger on her beautiful lips to stop her from talking.

‘’Let’s talk inside my sunshine.’’ I told her. She became red, I don’t know if it is because of my touch or
the nickname but either way, it is because of me that she is blushing. And this make me happy for some
reason.

She pushed the door wide open for me to come in. I entered it and follow her in the living room. ‘’Let’s
talk now.’’ She stated as if it is me who did not want to talk.

‘’We are going to talk and this time we will talk about everything.’’ I relied her back.

‘’Why did not run away from me?’’ I asked her. ‘’ I don’t want to talk about it.’’ She replied back. ‘’ Elena,
look I am very tired from the flight. So we are going to talk about everything especially about that bomb
that you threw me yesterday.’’

‘’I don’t have to explain anything to you.’’ She said. ‘’Don’t you think that I deserved an explanation
after all these years. I love more than anything. I am ready to do anything for you. Why don’t you want
to give our relationship a chance? Why are you doing that? Sometimes you make as if you love me and
sometimes you act as if you hate me.’’ I asked her.

‘’ You want the truth? The truth is that I don’t love you anymore. And I am very happy that I will die
soon, I won’t have to see your face anymore, I won’t have to hear you and I am very happy about that.’’
Ouch, it hurt to hear her saying that to me even if it was not the truth. ‘’ Elena you are playing with your
hair.’’ ‘’Damn it’’. She had a bad… no a good habit of playing with her hair when she lied.
She sat down and I sat on the floor next to her on my knees. ‘’ Tell me the truth my sunshine, we will
deal with it together. And don’t worry about your illness because I can assure you that you will not die. I
will not let you die. Trust me please.’’
She look undecided, she want to tell me but she is afraid to do so. But why? There is nothing that she
will say that you make me not want her. There is nothing that can separate us.

‘’Okay fine. I will die anyway.’’ She said. I was about to argue with her but then I decided to let her explain everything first. I was a bit afraid that she will refused to tell me.

‘’ You have to promise me that you will not interrupted me at all first.’’ ‘’I promise ‘’.

She started to tell me of how she heard about the stupid which meant nothing to me at all. Of how she told her dad to take her away from me. And she came to the part that I was really excited. Ethan.

The guy who was thinking that he can marry my woman. She stared to tell me that Ethan needed to marry someone for his family and as she had a tumor and will die later on. And I again wanted to interrupt her for saying that she will die soon. And that after her death, his family will not bother him
again to marry someone. He was using my sunshine, he will pay for that.
As if hearing my thought, she said ‘’ It was all my plan. Not his. He is my friend and I wanted to help
him.’’ ‘’ Yeah sure, I understand. I said, not meaning it at all. He will pay for using her, I will used all power to destroy him. ‘’ Ethan!’’ ‘’ Fine. Continue to explain me.’’ I told her.

She started to tell me on how she wanted to revenge on me to using her as a bet. I also wanted to interrupt her but when I make a promise to my sunshine, I always stay true to it. But still how could she think that I was using her. It was have started like that but I never once thought of her a bet.

And what revenge is she taking about. I have a lot of questions for her now.
She explains that after the revenge she would have taken a flight tosomewhere that I would not know about and then she will die and I will not have found out about her ever.

This time, my control is gone. Hearing about her die one more time, hearing that I would have to live in
a world where I would not find her. I came closer to her and stared to kiss her as if it is a way to keep her
to me.
