the fifth time:

this is sad just fyi

when ned first found out that Peter was superman, his first thought was if you or may knew, Peter almost flipped, 'ned! may and y/n cannot know, I cant do that to them right now.'

ned immediately took a step back, he didn't expect him to be this protective over y/n. he knew that he was protective over may, after all she did for him Peter feels the need to repay her.

but ned had never seen Peter snap like that, he could tell that was a topic Peter was sensitive to.

'Peter, she is going to find out somehow, maybe she already knows!' 'no ned! I have been so careful with her, about covering it up. theres no way she could know'

but y/n on the other hand, she was sitting outside of Peters room listening to the whole conversation, trying to keep herself together. she was in tears, y/n and tony got into a pretty big fight, and she immediately made her way over to Peters apartment.

but y/n knew that Tony and Peter were looking out for her, she knew that they wanted no harm to come her way.

she was just so sick and tired of everybody feeling the need to protect her all the time. it was beginning to get on her nerves.

when she heard ned shuffling his back pack around, that meant he was leaving, she had to go someplace quick, so she just ran out the front door, and decided to make it look like she was just arriving at his house.

when ned walked out of the door, he saw your face. he knew you had been crying, 'hey, y/n, you okay?' he asked her, clearly she wasn't okay. but thats how it was lately, she clearly wasn't okay.

'uh, just a little shaken up, is Peter home?' he nods in response, but gives her a hug. ned has had a friendship with y/n for so long, they've always been there for each other. she had started to forget that. which now that she realized it, y/n started to feel bad.

'ned I told you- oh shit, y/n, uh, hi.' Peter says, obviously flustered, 'hi Peter.' she says, with a tone in her voice that Peter doesn't like. sadness.

'whats wrong love?' he pulls her into a hug, where she lets out all her sadness, anger, and frustration into with sobs and cries.

'my dad and I had a fight. when he gets mad, and I mean very mad, he gets kinda. hostile.' Peter started to rub her back with his hand as they moved to the couch, 'do you want to talk about it? you can let it all out.'

'it started when he wanted me to stop seeing you, he thought- he thinks you are not good enough for me, that you couldn't possibly love me.' what just left her lips hurt Peter. 'and then I defended you the best I could, but then he said that I should move schools, that we should move to Brooklyn, or upstate.' at this point, hot tears were streaming down her face, 'then he got really mad when I brought up mom.'

Peter knew not to talk about you're mother, all Peter knew was that she died when you were young, and it tore your dad t pieces.

'it was all a blur until he threw a cup at me, to shut me up. it wasn't meant to hit me, I just happened to step the wring way. I knew he didn't mean it, it- its ju-st him.' Peter was holding y/n tight.

when Peter got up to go the bathroom, she pulled out her phone, she looked at her wallpaper. it was her, her mom and dad, at Disney world. she remembers that day so vividly, the happiness, the fear of racing down the roller coasters, how full she felt after she ate food, everything. she remembers it all.

when Peter came back, she was half asleep, her phone still on, Peter picked it up off the floor and saw the photo.

nobody could really tell it was Tony, unless you really look, but he was distracted by y/n's snores, 'I love you y/n. to the moon and beyond the stars, and back, I love you.'
