'shuri! get over here now!' Tony said, peter was in shock, how could he not be crying, sad, something! 'mr. stark, she is dead, there is nothin you can do.'

'thats what you think kid. thats what you think.' Tony grabbed y/n in his arms and carried her lifeless body to shuri, 'how is this possible?' she said in her thick wakandan accent, Tony looked at both shuri and y/n,

'she's a stark.

'i need dr. Banner over here now!' Shuri yelled out in her lab, y/n's lifeless body was laying on the cold metal table, her intestines ripped out of her, clothes shredded, cuts and scabs are covering her legs, arms, and face.

the tesseract caused a massive explosion in underground new york, y/n was looking for Peter. thats why she was down there. 'shuri can fix her, she is smart. if anyone can do it, it is going to be her.' T'challa said to peter, most everybody was calm. but shuri was running all over the place, bruce was doing something the computer, and tony was calling pepper.

avengers came in and out. hugs were given to Peter, but he never received them. the only hug he wanted was from y/n. but a smile came to his lips, remembering all of the good times he shared with her.

he remembers their first kiss, how wonderful it was. how her lips fit perfectly with his, how her hands ran through his hair, and how his hands went to her waist. it was perfect.

he remembers their first I love you. she was laying on the couch in his apartment, it was after she had a fight with her dad. she was crying, she was wreck, she often fought with her dad, this time it took a toll on her. 'I love you y/n. to the moon and beyond the stars, and back, I love you.'

he remembers everything. every second he spent with her was remembered. it was never wasted. 'this is...impossible' Peter was leaning against the wall, he heard shuri speak, but he didnt really process it.

'whats impossible?' shuri looked up from y/ns body, 'her heart, its beating. barely, and her lungs, are barely receiving air. she is alive Tony'

t'challa had the biggest grin on his face. everyones breathing stopped, they were all shocked, nobody said a word, the lab was silent, you could har a mouse squeak. 'well if she is alive, how come she isnt doing anything, like talking or-or blinking!' Peter shouted, 'her brain, it isnt quite there. when the tesseract exploded, she would have to have been right next to it, or extremely close.'

'all we have to do, is basically put her back together, give her oxygen, and she will be, stable.' bruce explained, 'stable?' Tony asked from the doorway he was standing in, 'I cannot garuntee you that she will ever walk or talk again, but as long as her heart is beating and her lungs are receiving oxygen, she will be alive.'

the surgery took so long, almost too long. 20 hours and 46 minutes to be exact. but bruce is a fantastic scientist and doctor, its what he does. along with he help of shuri, or course.

bruce came out of the lab to get Peter, 'we-were done.' Tony was asleep next to him, but Peter didnt want to miss anything. he got up and hugged banner, 'thank you.'

he walked into the lab, shuri was asleep in the chair, snoring, but y/n was laying down in a bed, with wires attached to her now half shaved head, stitches covering her stomach, tubes going in and out of her, but she was alive. and breathing.
