After a few more minutes, they leave and Robin let out a breath of relief. She was tired from the day at work and she just wanted to be with her husband and son.

"Can we go now?" Chris asked.

"Yeah, I think the coast is clear."

He sat up from Stevie's bed and shook his head a little- trying to pull himself together.

"Dude, are you really gonna go home like that? I mean; I have no problem taking you home, but your mom and dad are gonna bark at you," she added.

"Mm, I don't care. I'm tired as fuck. Stevie assures them everyday I come to work and because, I see you everyday- you're going to, too.".

"Mouthy, aren't we?" she placed a hand on her hip.

"Yeah and, also when we get there- keep your mouth shut about Stevie and Lindsey. They are happy- so let them enjoy their selves. Okay?"

"What is it that you people think I'm gonna say?" she flung her arms out.

"You speak unconsciously sometimes- giving away info, that's not yours to give. So I'm saying: pay attention otherwise my sister will disown you. She really and I mean really likes Lindsey, dude. So just..." he trailed not finishing- knowing she got the message.

She nodded. "I'm really excited for her," she squealed. "She hasn't had a date in a while and she needs to get out more."

"See that?" he pointed at her. "That over exuberance- keep it to yourself, girl."

"You can be such an ass, y'know?" she rolled her eyes.

"I'm your best friend's little brother. It's what I do," he assured placing a hand over his chest.

"Ugh," she scoffed. "Let's go, dip shit," she said- walking away to the front door.

Stevie and Lindsey had finally made their way to the drive in. They were both excited and they had minor conversation during the car ride.

"Ooh, park there," Stevie pointed a nice middle spot. It wasn't too close but not too far either. They also managed to get a nice view of two horny teens making out. "Maybe we should park somewhere else?" she suggested.

"If it bothers you, we can," he chuckled as he placed the keys in the ignition once again.

"Well, this is a good spot..." she curled her lips to one side. "Once the movie starts it should be fine," she then looked around. "Plus, seems like all the youngsters are doing that," she chuckled.

"Yeah..." he trailed off in slight discomfort as he looked out the back window to see many teenagers doing the same action.

"So anyway," she began to erase what was surrounding them.

He turned to look at her as he got comfortable in his seat.

She stayed quiet for a really long time. She wanted to say something but she didn't at the same time. "I'm going to be honest," she looked down at her lap. "I've not done this in a while and I am almost new at this. The last relationship I was in, was toxic. It was terrible and I haven't dated since then."

"Well, I'll be honest also. I haven't dated anyone since Joanna died- my wife, y'know?"

She nodded in understanding.

"I don't want to be presumptuous..." he trailed off in thought. He was trying to think of a way to ask her about the guy she was with.

"If you're interested, I'll tell you," she said smiling weakly. She knew he wanted to know and she wasn't too enthused about telling him, but she trusted him. The only ones who knew was Robin and her brother. She never told her parents and she never planned on it either.
