~Weeks Later~
In the last weeks that had passed by, Stevie had told her brother and Robin everything that had gone on. She was happy to explain how she felt to them and they loved to see how happy Lindsey made her. The whole time, she managed to keep parts at bay. She didn't slip and tell her mother, but the parts she didn't tell her would soon come. She was having a great time during the school year and she was even happier to come to work and see the man she was totally head over heels for.
Lindsey was also having the best time of his life and he loved every moment spent with Stevie. She was the embodiment of perfect. Everything about her had a special quality to it and it was understandable. He didn't have to play games to understand her and that was the best part. She was a wonderful human being in his opinion and couldn't dream of being with anybody else. He loved how mellow she was, how great she was with his son. He had really hoped for a further step. Perhaps a family. He'd always been a family man and he was still unsure of those specific feelings within her.
In the past weeks he was able to meet Jess and Barbara- her parents and he got to know them easily. Jess really liked Lindsey and he took interest in what he did. Barbara thought he was a beautiful young man and perfect for her daughter. She had always wished her daughter would have made it with Donovan, but she and Jess had failed to realize the reality and volatility within the relationship. But they were more than happy to see their daughter happy with a man. Barbara loved the fact that her daughter got to play mommy thus far in the relationship. She could definitely see an important interaction with his son and her daughter. Not to mention, she-- herself was totally in love with small boy. She and Christopher kept him totally entertained and he was just loved by all the Nicks family.
Christopher was having a ball between gossiping with Robin about Stevie and Lindsey and watching Exavior. Stevie and Lindsey would often leave the kid while they went on dates with his or her parents, brother or Robin. Robin had a son so it was fun for Exavior to have a friend to play with. Christopher would also eavesdrop on his parents to see what they were talking about so he could tell his sister. Stevie hated when her mother would plan things or insinuate so her little spy was always on the job.

"Stevie! I have a surprise," Lindsey came into her classroom with a white envelope to hand her.
"What's up?" she stood to meet him.
He put the envelope outward to hand it to her.
As she went to grab it, he pulled away and she looked up at him.
"Kiss, first?"
She giggled and kissed him, taking the envelope from his hand. "What is this?" she asked as she opened it.
"A trip! we can go on a trip during spring break."
"Oh, that sounds great, but what about Exavior?" she questioned as she scanned the given information.
"My mom said she would watch him. What do you think? wanna go?" he asked.
"I think it would be really fun," she smiled.
"Yeah and it'll just be me and you," he leaned into kiss her, but stopped when the bell rang. "I'll see you at break, Mister Buckingham," she put her fingers over his lips. When they were on campus the referred to each other as students did and they kept their relationship as friends during class time. It wasn't that they didn't want anybody to know, but it would be a little unprofessional. Especially while teaching groups of teens.
"Bye Miss Nicks, see ya then," he winked at her and proceeded out of her room to get to his own.
A few moments later Christopher walked in with students on his trail to get to class as well. "Hey, sis?" he sat down at his seat by her desk.
