There's nothing more than a cup of coffee as my relaxing therapy.
"May I join you in the table?"
"Ui Doc. Yes." Ngiti kong saad kay Dr. Morales.
"Lagi ka ba dito?" He asked and took a sip of his coffee.
"Yeah, Dito ako if I need time to relax and.. uhmmm..How can I say this? meditation?"
Nakita kong napangiti siya sa sagot ko..
"I'm serious Doc. Adik din talaga ako sa kape." I added.
"Oh well, it's not surprising anyways since our job is beyond our schedules."He said.
Tumango ako bilang pag sang ayon.
"So, what's your blend?" He asked.
"I love espresso blend." I answered and took a sip of my hot cafe americano.
"Same here."
Nagkuwentuhan kami at out of the topic ang trabaho namin dahil kung yun pa pag uusapan namin, ay parang nasa hospital lang kami nun.
"Goodevening Sir, Welcome to Bo's Coffee." I heard one of the barista greeted ng bumukas ang glass door ng coffee shop and it caught my attention since a very familiar faces are entering the coffee shop.
I heard my heartbeats so fast ng magtama ang mga mata namin.
"Dr. Imperial are you okay?"
"Ah y-yes Doc." Should I thank Dr. Morales for diverting my attention and made my senses back?
"Did you already had dinner?" He asked.
"Not yet." Sagot ko.
"Ako din eh, let's eat?"
"Sige ba."
"I know a place na masarap ang food yet it's cheap." He paused for awhile and smiled." Kumakain ka naman ng mga murang pagkain di ba?"
Natawa ako sa tanong niya.
"Of course Doc. " Nakangiti kong sagot.
"So, let's go?" I nodded and we both stood up.
Habang naglalakad na kami palabas ay may sadyang bumangga sa akin.Sadya yun alam ko, kalaki ng daanan sinalubong pa talaga ako.
"Opss, Sorry." Maarte at hindi sincere niyang apology.
"Dr. Imperial are you okay?" Dr. Morales asked.
"Yeah." I said habang pinupunasan ng panyo ang damit kong nabasa ng kape.
"Dr.?" She surprisingly asked.
"Yes, she's a doctor.Any problem with that?" Dr. Morales.
"How come that someone like you became a doctor?" She smirked and i know she's up to something.
"Miss Patrice, Is this how you'll greet your past student?" I said at pag iiba ko sa usapan.
"Ow, Sorry Shane, Ikaw naman kasi hindi ka tumitingin sa dinadaanan mo."
"Ako pa talaga?" I smirked and my eyes diverted to the man na kasama niya na papalapit sa amin.
"Zion Honey.Order na lang tayo ng bagong coffee binangga kasi ako ng dati nating estudyante." Sabay pulupot pa ng mga kamay niya sa braso nito.
