"Iruka-sensei!", you walked over to him, "Hurry up, even a snail is faster than you"

"Hey! Don't insult your sensei!"

"Well, there isn't going to be one soon if you don't HURRY THE FUCK UP!"

"Geez, fine.", Iruka pouted, finally going faster.

You smiled contently, nearing the training grounds.

Iruka started to speak up, "I'm not going to go easy on you now that you're not in the academy, so be prepared for the training"

You smirked, "I'm ready for anything!"

Time-skip

'Oh God I regret being trained by you", you thought as you walked, your whole body sore from it.

It was the day before the Chunin exams, and Iruka gave you a day off of training because of it, saying something about "resting is training too". Could've given me that training sooner.

Since you had no training, you contemplated whether to stay home and rest or leave, seeing how your other teammates were doing.

Of course, in spite of your everything begging you to rest, you went outside to find your friends.

The nearest house to yours was Sakura's, so you headed towards it. Even though she may be really mean, as in coming to your fucking house uninvited and slapping you mean, she is still your teammate.

Deep in your thoughts, you didn't notice yourself already at her front door until you bumped into it. You hesitated at first, but knocked the door.

Sakura opened the door, "Hello? Oh, hey [Y/N]. How are y- EHH? [Y/N]?! Why are YOU here??"

"Hi, Sakura-Chan! I'm fine, thank you! I was just wondering if you were ready for the chunin exams?", you smiled at her.

"Chunin exams? Oh yeah! Um, why should I tell you, huh?", Sakura glared at you.

"Ah! Well, I just wanted to help!"

Silence filled the air after you said that. Suddenly, Sakura spoke up, almost a whisper, "Why are you so nice to me? After everything I have done to you... Why!?"

You thought for a moment, finally coming up with something to say.

"I'm not really sure, actually! But still, you're my teammate, and no matter what, I should take care of you! Hopefully,  you'd do the same thing to me!"

Sakura glanced at you for a moment, her eyes watering.

"I'm so sorry, I'm so so sorry... I was so selfish and wanted Sasuke-Kun to myself. Heck, I even wished you were dead! I was immature, and still am. Thank you for letting me know that, [Y/N]-chan", Sakura smiled at you.

Smiled, it was the first time she did, so you couldn't help but smile back.

Then, realization struck you.

"WAIT, you wanted me to die?!?"

"Ehe, no!", Sakura stammered in nervousness, "I said that I wanted you to survive!!"

You looked at her with suspicion, "Well, okay... Anyways! I'm going to go check on Naruto! Do you by any chance know where he is?"

"Oh! I heard Naruto was in the hospital for a while because of his training. He probably got out by now, though. You should check that ramen place he often goes to.", Sakura explained

"Sure! Bye, Sakura-chan!", you said your goodbye and ventured off to find Naruto.

Lil time-skip

"Naruto! There you are", you wanted from running around. Of course, as Sakura expected, he was eating ramen.

"[Y/N]-chan! How are you doing? I missed you!!!", Naruto said, running towards you and engulfing you in a hug.

The hug was nice st first, but soon turned into a death grip.

"N-Naruto...", you stuttered out, "I'm... I'm dying! LET GO!!!"

Naruto immediately stopped hugging you and apologized a million times, before inviting you for ramen.

"No thank you! I need to find Kakashi and Sasuke now. Next time though, okay?", you winked at him playfully.

His face turned red, "Sure! See you later!"

You smiled, "Bye~!"

Another lil time skip, brought to you once again by La-la-lazy! We need more sells or we're afraid we'll need to shut down ;-;

You ran around, the moon already going up, still looking for Sasuke.

No-matter where you looked, you couldn't find him.

Heck, you even looked in the pond to see if his duck-ass hair was floating around!

You sulked, 'I should've accepted the offer of ramen....'

You then headed back home, and slept, nervous on the events that would happen the next day.
