Ron wandered through the halls of Hogwarts, making his way slowly towards the Astronomy Tower and thinking about his best friend. He's hiding something, I know he is. I just wonder what it could be, he thought. Maybe he's more injured from that Quidditch fall than he let on? But that doesn't explain the glowing eyes thing. "I need to ask Hermione about that." Ron muttered to himself.

"Ask Hermione about what?" a voice asked, startling Ron out of his musings. He whipped around to see someone leaning against the stone wall, arms crossed, leg propped on the wall, and eyebrow raised. "Er...um...h-hello, Blaise." The Italian stood up straight, putting him a few inches taller than the red head. "Ask Hermione about what?" he repeated. "Oh, er, it's nothing. Just wondering about something."

The Slytherin walked towards Ron until they were inches apart, forcing Ron to take a step backwards. "Are you being purposefully vague?" Ron's heart thudded in his chest, loud enough that he was sure Blaise could hear it. "Maybe?" he squeaked.

Blaise hummed quietly. "Maybe I can convince you to tell me what's going on in that mind of yours. Care to share?" Ron whimpered, suddenly terrified to tell Blaise how he felt towards him. "You know, if you're going to mutter about asking your girlfriend about something where anyone can hear you, you might as well be prepared to talk about it to whoever hears you."

"I-I didn't-she's not my girlfriend!" Ron stuttered. Blaise raised an eyebrow. "She's not, is she? Then how come I see you two kissing all the time?" Ron shook his head. "You've got it wrong. Yes, she was my girlfriend, but we just broke up."

Blaise stepped a bit closer and his voice dropped. "So, you're going to ask your ex about something that you won't share with me?" "It was a mutual break-up!" Ron said, backing up another step.

Blaise nodded understandingly. "So, was there any reason you were just wandering the halls, then? It's not an activity that you usually partake of." Ron bit his lip and nodded, suddenly afraid to meet his crush's eyes. "I'll drop the other thing for now, but I won't forget. However, I'll bite. Why were you strolling around the halls of Hogwarts?"

Ron clammed up suddenly, refusing to speak. "Ron," Blaise said warningly. "I'm not used to having my questions ignored." The tone of the Italian's voice sent a shudder down Ron's spine.

"I-err..." "Perhaps you want a little help voicing your thoughts?" Blaise said, pressing Ron back until the ginger was leaning against the wall, caged in by Blaise's hand next to his head. Ron squeaked and tried to speak but couldn't.

"Allow me." Blaise said. Ron didn't know what the Slytherin was referring to, but nodded shakily anyways. Suddenly, his thoughts vanished like a vapor as he felt the Italian's lips on his, silky smooth and soft.

All too soon, Blaise pulled away, leaving Ron gasping for air, and wondering what just happened. "Is that what you wanted to say?" the taller boy asked. Ron simply looked at him and nodded. Blaise smirked. "Good. You don't know how long I've wanted to do that. Now, what were you going to ask Hermione? You do realize that she may be first in the class, but I'm second, right? Ron nodded, trying desperately to remember what he was thinking about before he ran into Blaise.
