Unexpected circumstances.

Lumiere's side.

 "That doesn't mean you can just forget about me! That thing almost killed me! You don't realize that, do you!"

 "I had my hands full dealing with a crazy bastard!"

 "I don't care! I thought I was done for.

 Lixk finally calmed down and slumps on the floor, leaning against a wall. He's full of bruises again but nothing major happened to him, the moon's going up in the sky and the air's getting chilly.

 "So how did you escape?" I have already explained why we couldn't carry our original plan, so it was now my turn to ask what had happened over his side.

 "When I left you, I went where you pointed me and searched for a while, about five minutes later I saw the dragon, I climbed a tree while keeping my distance for another ten minutes, after that the dragon walked beneath the branch I was on, I threw a razor sharp knife at his neck and it made him tickle, that thing's scales are incredibly hard. After that the lizard began to tackle the tree until it was down, I jumped from branch to branch but because of the mist they were slippery, I decided to land another blow by jumping on top of the dragon with one of my daggers, but the scales didn't't budge, I couldn't't even scratch it, just my tip made it through but he began shaking and threw me off, I ran to another tree with the thing on my back running faster than me, I jumped to the side at the last minute but slipped while the thing crashed head on bringing down another tree. I felt his yellow eyes staring at me, but it didn't move to crush me now that I was down, he simply got up and ran like hell to where you were I suppose, but how did it find you?"

 "Because that thing wasn't a dragon, it was only a demon. I read once that the dragons possessed immense knowledge, wisdom and presence along with size and power enough to scorch the skies, or so it is said, and the lizard doesn't match with the description. It found us simply by noticing the flow of mana, there are some demons that can do that.

 "Okay, how's the girl?" She flinched at the question and stiffened her hands while glaring at Lixk

  "Ah! Be careful!"

 I screamed at Alice, she is stitching my arm and she pulled the thread along with my sensitive skin making me scream. I have already treated the wound but Alice insisted on closing it and wouldn't let go.

 When I found Lixk I told him about our situation and about Ruah. He took it without much care but to Alice it was a delicate thing to talk about.

 Resuming her work, she passed the needle through my skin very slowly on purpose making me sweat. While I was in the middle of suffering she began talking about Ruah.

 "She has three broken ribs and two fingers, a lot of bruises and by the looks of it she was abused repeatedly. I have treated her wounds with what I have at hand but she's still asleep."

 "Do you think she'll wake up?"

 "Okay, it's done." She cuts the threat and taps my shoulder making me flinch. "I don't know, I don't know how shocking it was on her emotions what she went through, her mental state musn't be good, so she's not waking. To have to go through something like that.... Why is she here in the first place?"

 "Because the crazy bastard brought her?"

 "I know that! I'm asking why! Why is she here, why was Roux here! He should be dead by now, Van said he would make it so. So why... did this happened to her?"

 "I don't have the answers but we'll get them when we get out of here. I will get those answers." Lixk reply calmed down Alice that shows a dejected look, she has been looking dejected all day.
