Almost like an ocean
When King released it
From the Earth
Where insects crawled
In sync.
It was exquisite
But flawed
And coloured light grey at the edges
Like the wings
Of the monarch
That landed on it's
Satin blue petals.
It was called a lily then
And is still a lily now.
