Darkest Moon. [ON HOLD]

Chapter two.

Maureen just nodded her head. "i think it might be here because of mother. shes been doing so many spells for..." Maureen trailed off. Samuel shook his shoulder slightly so her head would move With it "for what Maureen? Is your mother doing something she shouldn't?!" he asked frighted because he has seen first hand what kind of magic her mother could do.

Her head Shot off his shoulder and she stared at him in horror "Samuel, Bloodmoon!My  mother would never do a spell she knows that's not right!" she yelled her eyes got just a little bit darker and Samuel knew it was time to say sorry "Maureen I'm sorry i never meant it that way. i am just worried about you is all." He replied putting his hands up as if to surrender to her.

Her eyes lightened after a moment or two. "i know Sam. its just shes been doing so many spell to see whats going to happen latter on in life. she always told me animals were a sign of good magic and good fortune. But in my heart I feel as if shes wrong about that." Maureen sighed feeling bad about doubting her own mother.

Samuel's mouth dropped open and he looked at Maureen in shock. he had never heard her say she thinks her mother is wrong about something. "Don't look at me like that Sam . It makes me feel bad and you look like a fish." he shut his mouth before pulling her into a reassuring hug "Don't you worry about it Maureen it will all work out i promise."

"I am going to hold you to that promise you know." Maureen replied before jumping out of the tree and landing lightly on her feet. She always wondered why she never fell when she landed. she also wondered if it was because shes smarter and more athletic then most boys and girls in the town her house shadowed she didn't have many friends other then Sam and his Brother John who was her age and their older sister Jenna. and her best friend Ivy Eclipse.

"lets go home okay?" Samuel said when he climbed down the tree slightly jealous of Maureen for being able to just jump and land perfectly. He tried it once but only ended up breaking his leg. Maureen looked at him smiling "race you to your house?" Samuel smiled and simply said "i will beat you this time!" and started running. Maureen laughed and yelled "in your dreams Sam!" then ran after him.
