Maureen screamed and feel to the ground just as the wolf jumped the wolf was about to hit Samuel when an arrow hit the wolf knocking it off course. The arrow was sticking out of its chest, blood running down the arrow and dripping on the ground. The wolf shifted to its human form and screamed trying to pull the arrow out of his chest but the vampires stared at the blood and one jumped onto the mans back pulling his head back and sank its fangs into his neck. The man screamed even more then went limp when the vampire snapped his neck with one swift motion of its hands.

 Ivy and John ran to Samuel's side Ivy dropping to her knees to check Maureen who was holding her stomach again. " Samuel! There is something wrong with her. We need to get her out of here!" Ivy yelled just as a vampire with blond hair and reddish eyes charged.  John easily hit him in the face breaking his nose .

The vampire stumbles back holding his bleeding nose. A wolf growls and gets ready to spring on Ivy's back along with two humans getting their swords ready. Suddenly, Ivy yelps in surprise when Maureen is no longer laying on the ground.  All eyes were on the spot where Maureen was then they heard a blood curdling scream coming from one of the humans who was flailing his arms try to get whatever was on his back off. The man continued to flail as his head was pulled to the side and a shadowy face appeared and started whispering in the mans ear. He stopped flailing and went completely still.

 Maureen was watching the wolf as it sprang. She suddenly felt this horrible pain run through  her stomach. She screamed and fell to the ground holding her stomach. The pain was so horrible Maureen was unconscious in less then 5 minutes because of the pain..

Maureen felt Ivy touch her arm and say something to Samuel. Suddenly, Maureen heard a heart beat and was drawn to it. She shot up and went to where it was. She heard Ivy yelp but didn't care.

The smell of flowers and honey hit her and she saw the human it came from.  He had black hair,  was taller then herself but she did care not at all. She heard a voice in the back of her mind say. Go Maureen you know what to do, just jump on him and hold on.  Maureen jumped onto the mans back and held on.

She pulled the mans head back by his hair, she didn't even notice the people watching.  She started to whisper to him "Calm down. I won't hurt you. Its okay." The man went still and she smiled and she felt her canine teeth sharpen " This will hurt but only for a second." She said.

Then bit his neck. He screamed, people gasped and Samuel and Ivy started to run to her.

Hot blood poured into her mouth tasting like honey; she started to drink the sweet liquid. But suddenly she felt something touch her waist and then the blood and the body it came out of was gone...
