In My Head

Chapter 1

Its my second day of high school. I just moved here yesterday. My very loud outspoken (newly discovered half sister) has forced me to stay after to be a football manager. This outta be fun.

"Where are you", I say highly annoyed and hot at this point.

"Dude just walk out side by the football field. Do you see it?" I walk outside ready to give up.

"Yea I see it. What now?"

"Do you see that building behind it," She asks in her duhh tone making me roll my eyes.

"Yea I see it I'm coming. Come outside." I say walking fast.

"But its hot." She says like the lazy bum she is.

"Get out here!" I scream into the phone getting me glares from a group of people on the bleechers.

"Fine." She said with a groan as she hung up.

I see her come outside and I run to her giving her a hug.

"Heyy sissy I haven't seen you since lunch." I say to her

"Whatever fart face" yep you just gotta love her

"Ok,"she says seriously "the smell in this building will make your eyes water, and you will throw up if you breath in to deep."

I laugh at her "Baby I grew up with this smell. My family is a football family to the core."

We walk in and the smell is just as I imagined. Then there's the team. "All of the Varsity and Junior Varsity players share a locker room. Then down the hall are all the freshman players. Which will be our boys for the season. And this is the manager room. Where all hurt players come to be fixed."

There are 6 other girls in the room. Walking around taping, fixing water, and preparing wounds for todays practice. "Jamie! This is my sister I was telling you about." My sister yells over the boys to get Jamie's attention.

"Hi I'm Jamie! And you are?" She askes me with a sweet motherly smile.

"I'm Jasmine. It's nice to meet you."

"Well we're almost done with everything, so you can just chill till after team meeting." And as if he was listening the head coach, Coach Large, came out of his office.

"TEAM ROOM 30 SECONDS" This guy has a serious yelling problem.

After the boys come out of their meeting its time to head out on the practice field. We get out there and I meet some of the guys. Then I see him those chocoalate brown eyes big shoulders and arms, he had the prettiest smile I ever seen.

"Hey....have I seen you before," he said smiling. In that moment I forgot how to speak.

"Umm I don't know I'm new here. I'm Jasmine." I said as my hands started to sweat.

"Oh well I have to go back to practice now. Bye Jasmine" he winked really quick. I almost didnt see it.

"You might wanna wipe the drool off your lip." My sister said.

"Whatever. Lets get back to work."

Ugh I hate school. Walking through the halls some people tryin to get where they are going others just standing in the way. 1st and 2nd period go by without a hitch. I walk to my 3rd period class super early because its right next door.

"Hey its Jasmine right." I hear a sexy voice say to me.

I turn around and there he is in all his glory looking beautiful.

"Heyy its....wait umm I don't know your name." Way to play it cool Jasmine....way to play it cool.

"Oh yea I'm Kade. Sorry we didn't get a chance to talk yesterday."

" No its cool you had practice and you needed to focus. So is this your class or did you just stop to say hi?"

At that his face lights up. He's so hot.

"Thats where I've seen you before." He says so excited at his new found discovery.

How? How could I not notice him yesterday? Maybe I was like so tired my brain was on like 30%.

Practice was going to be so fun from now on.
