I was bouncing with so much excitement. I couldn't even think straight. Kade had already parked and was getting out the car. I couldn't move I was so excited I couldn't move.

"Are you getting out?" He said with a smirk on his face.

"Can you carry me?" I asked with the puppy dog eyes.

He picked me up laughing. We walked from our parking space to the ticket booth. There were so many lights and sounds. Everything was happening at once. People were laughing and dancing to the theme music. The rides were in full swing and the lines weren't too long.

Another thing I noticed was everybody was beautiful, tall, and strong. The girls looked at me weird.

Bitches

"What is this?" A guy asked from behind Kade.

"This is me bringing my best friend to a carnival, which she's never been to. So if you'll excuse us we're going to go have fun," Kade said in a matter of fact voice.

That was so sexy.

We got on a couple rides until I got tired of waiting in lines. We went to stand in another long line.

"What's this line for?" I asked all tired of standing.

"Funnel cake of course," Kade said.

I found a whole bunch of energy hiding somewhere and the excitement came back.

I love funnel cake!

He laughed a deep laugh.

I kind of was getting tired of walking so I wanted to ride a long ride. We settled on the Ferris wheel even though he isn't a fan of heights, of course he isn't scared he'd just rather be on the ground.

*as we're going higher and higher*

"Its such a beautiful day," I say leaning on Kades shoulder.

"Yea. It is." He says in return.

"So when are we leaving here? I kinda wanted to come over your house to hang with your family."

I don't think Kade knows this but I come over his house because he had a big family. Sometimes they aren't all the best friends and there are arguing, fights, and crying but at least they communicate with one another.

"In about 20 minutes. I have some other business to handle that just came up.

We prepare to leave and get on Kades car and drive back to his house

There's nothing for me at mine.

We pull up to his beautiful house with his moms flower garden in the front that she takes so much pride in. Its the most beautiful garden on the block.

I jump out not waiting for him to park the car.

" Mama! Buenos dias!" I yell though the house.

I would say hey to his siblings first but if she doesn't get the first hug someone is going to get hurt.

"Oh mi mija! Its so good to see you poquito!" She says genuinely missing me.

"I missed you so much mama. Kade took me to the fair and I got so much food, but he has to take care of somethings so I was wondering if I could hang here."

"Of course mija. ¡Tù es familia!"

That's the thing I love about Kades mom she makes you feel loved no matter what your going through.

I stayed there for two days before I went home. Mama always brought me gifts so I had plenty of clothes there. Leaving is so hard. You get used to the noise and love only to return to loneliness and silence.

Kade couldn't stay he said he had something important tomorrow. I don't want his secret keeping us apart. Its scary losing someone you love to who they are.

When I got out of the shower I heard a noise. I didn't think to much of it but my mind was telling me: GET HELP

I walked in my room dressed and saw someone standing there.

"Who are you?" I asked scared but not backing down.

"Oh me," the stranger says "I'm Edwin and I'm here for you."

All I could think to myself in that moment was my own impending doom.
