Chapter 11

After we had eaten, Kade and I decided to go for a walk. We left out of the large glass sliding door on the other side of the kitchen. we walked towards the perimeter of the yard. He led me around the large backyard that mirrored an fancy outside venue. I couldn't believe the last 24 hours of my life really happened, like its insane all this is real. The silence between Kade and I was new and uncomfortable. i sat on a beautiful pearl bench at the edge of a beautiful bench. Kade sat down next to me i guess it was just the fact that i didn't know what to say to start the conversation and he didn't want to start it. i just want him to know that im here for him. just like i always have been and always will be. i wish i could know whats going on in his head.

*Kades POV*

i need to tell her. i know she thinks her parents are missionaries but they aren't, at least not the religious kind. her parents are the two top warriors in the South East. I've hated keeping that secret from her. it wasn't my decision. her parents have been communicating with my mom since before we were born. it was the plan from the beginning to introduce me once she moved here. i was supposed to take care of her and protect her. She's like one of my sisters. i would kill for her. i can sense her need to say something. she always wants to make everything ok the one thing she hates is for someone to be in pain.

"Jasmin I have something to tell you and it's really important." I watched as she looked up at me with the expression that told me she was open to anything I was getting ready to tell her.

"Your parents are werewolf warriors that travel around and eliminate uneaten threats and train other packs.
I watched as her face went from shock to understanding to pride.

"Wait so does that mean I'm a werewolf too? She asked me with big excited eyes.

Only she would take this that good.

"It's safe to assume so. You haven't really been raised in pack life. Your birthday is coming up soon so we'll see that wolf of yours soon.

" Oh that seems cool," she said "so when do I get to meet the Alpha?"

"The alpha isn't as old as you would think. Our previous alpha retired so his son took over. He's 20 his name is Xavier. He's a bit of a playboy but a really great leader." I finish

"Aren't they all," She says with a slight eye roll.

*Jazmins POV*

A wave of pleasure hit me as I listened to Kade speak about his Alpha but it was quickly over taken by hurt to learn that he's a play boy, which doesn't surprise me at all. Guys in that position always feel so entitled to any girl that will throw herself at him. I wouldn't ever wanna be that girl.
Why did I ever care ?
