"Move!" Polaris yelled as the mutants ran through the woods, trying their hardest to stay close together. Bunny and Vortex held onto each other's hands as they ran past the tree's that seemed to never end. Suddenly Vortex felt his hand being tugged and he stopped running to look back at Bunny who was standing completely still, staring at Vortex with tears in her eyes and the look of surprise on her face.

"What?" He asked, his eyebrows pulling together.

Bunny slowly looked down at her stomach where she noticed a long blade poking through her shirt. Blood started to pool around the wound as she looked up at Vortex who took a deep breath in. "Vortex..." she started but stopped as her eyes rolled back, and she collapsed to the ground of the forest.

Vortex quickly used his ability to create a cloud around the two of them. His hands hesitated as he reached for the handle of the blade that was stabbed through his back. He didn't see who did it, and he had no clue where they went. What he did know was that if he pulled it out, she'd bleed to death, but if he didn't pull it out he wouldn't be able to carry her out of the forest. Taking a deep breath in used as much strength as he could to pull the blade out of Bunny. She let out a loud scream as the blade slid out, digging through her body once more.

Though he didn't have the means to heal her, he knew he could use his ability to at least do something. With his eyes closed he imagined water coming from the earth's soil, clean and clear. He imagined the water traveling to Bunny and cleaning out her wound, inside and out. When he opened his eyes, he was the water leaving her body. It had done just as he wanted it to.

A thought came to his head as he wondered how he was going to stop the bleeding. He had never done it before, but it was worth a shot. Holding a hand over each side of the wound he imagined the sun in his hands. His mind raced as he imagined the sun heating up the palms of his hands, making them hot enough for him to attempt to cauterize her wounds. When he felt like his hands were on fire, he pressed them against her bare skin, trying to ignore to the screams she let out as her skin melted together.

One hundred feet away from Bunny and Vortex was Split. He heard Bunny's screams, but he couldn't do anything about them. Standing above him was a human with a smile on their face as they dug the knife in their hands deeper into his throat. Blood pooled in his throat, exploding out of his mouth as he coughed to catch his breath. He knew it wouldn't matter, he knew he was dying, but it was his body's natural instincts to try and survive.

With tears in her eyes, Ghost rushed at the human who was standing up straight, pulling the knife out of Split's throat in the process. When her body collided with the humans he went flying across the woods, his body smacking against a tree. Ghost used her super speed to reach him the moment he hit the tree, raised her leg into the air, and kicked him, full force, in the chest. The human went flying again, but this time she didn't go after him. Instead she rushed to Split who was now lying completely lifeless on the dirt and leaves. Tears slipped down the sides of his face as he attempted to take one last breath.

Ghost screamed as she tried to shake him awake. Her screams were loud enough for Death and Stone to hear. They rushed towards the direction they heard her screams come from and stopped a few feet away when they realized why she was screaming. A few minutes later the rest of the mutants were standing around them with tears in their eyes. The bodies of humans littered the woods they were running through. Joy suddenly came out into the open and found herself being pulled against Death's chest the moment her eyes saw Split.

"It's going to be okay, don't look," Death whispered into her ear as he tried to hold back his own tears.

"How did this happen?" Polaris demanded for an answer, even though he knew no one would have anything to say.

Blade covered his mouth as tears streamed down his face before he turned away. He couldn't look any longer. He didn't exactly like Split when he had his second personality, but Split had started to grow on him. With Rain dead, Reaper gone, Psylocke unconscious, and now Split murdered, he didn't know what was going to happen to them. They were started to drop like flies quicker than he thought they were.

"We need to keep moving," Night softly said as he put his hand on Polaris' shoulder.

Polaris shrugged his hand away and walked in the opposite direction. Slowly, one by one, the mutants followed him out of the woods. Blizzard was the one who pulled Ghost away from Split, wrapping his arm around her shoulders and pulling her along with him. As they walked quickly through the woods, he thought about what had happened.

None of the mutants understood how it happened. One minute they were traveling down the road and the next minutes the bus was flipped, and they were escaping from the bus before it exploded from the fire and leaking fuel. When they all gathered far enough away, they found themselves surrounded by humans in full gear. If it weren't for Rogue, Vortex, and Dragon, all of them would have died right then and there. The three of them moved quickly and used their abilities to provide all of them enough time to run.

However, the humans followed the mutants into the woods. The mutants had agreed to split up if they found themselves being ambushed and it was a good plan. Though they expected to have a tough fight if it came to it, they didn't expect anyone to die, especially not Split.

When they finally stepped out of the woods, they found themselves standing on an empty road with nothing in view except for trees. Polaris let out a sigh as he looked both ways. He didn't know what to do next.

"I can teleport us out of here," Junhee said as he walked up to Polaris.

"Where will we go?" Night asked.

"Yeah, it's not like we have another warehouse we can just make appear," Ash exclaimed.

Junhee nodded, understanding where they were coming from. "I know a place."

Yuchan shook his head when he realized where Junhee was thinking of. "No."

Junhee looked at him with pained eyes. "We don't have a choice. It's not perfect, but it will work."

"Where?" Polaris asked, cutting their conversation off.

"I know of a house in America. It's in the country and no one will know we are there."

"Why did Yuchan say no when you mentioned it?"

Donghun shook his head as he said, "It's the place Reaper told us about when we had met him all those years ago. He told us to never go there."

"Why?" Morph asked, holding Psylocke on his back effortlessly. Psylocke's breathing was slow, but even. He was getting better but there was still more work to be done on him.

Junhee paused for a moment, wondering if he should tell Polaris the reason why they were told to never go there. After a few moments he decided that Polaris needed to know. "Because it's the same place that Reaper got his name."
