Reaper was flying through the night sky went he felt a sudden pain in his chest. His wings stopped flapping and he quickly landed. It was only hours ago that he could sense Psylocke. He had cried when he discovered that Split had been killed, but as he flew through the sky he stopped when he heard that Bunny had died as well. The mutants were being torn apart and he wasn't there to help them.

After wiping away his tears he jumped back into the sky, flying faster than he had before. He still wasn't strong enough to teleport to Psylocke, but that didn't mean he couldn't fly to him. As he flew through the sky, Polaris was coming up with a plan. They were all still suffering from losing Split and Bunny, but they knew it was now or never.

"I think if we group us together by our abilities, we'll have a better chance of survival," Ira softly exclaimed.

"I agree. We have some of us with similar abilities and if we put one in each group, we'll be able to fight the humans," Warlock said.

Polaris nodded in agreeance. "You're both right. If we have Fortis go to the LA base and Pitch go to the Paris base, and separate other similar abilities, we'll win."

"When do we go?" Joy asked as she entered the small room they had hidden themselves within. Death was following behind her with a look of annoyance on his face. He wasn't happy about her being involved, especially when she didn't have any abilities.

"You're not going, we are," Polaris said without looking up from the world map they had placed on a makeshift table.

"What do you mean? This was my idea!" Joy said out of frustration.

Death held her back and tried to calm her down. He knew how she felt but he knew that Polaris was right by telling her that she wasn't going to be involved. It was a fight between the mutants and the humans and if she was going to be on the side of the mutants, the humans wouldn't hesitate to kill her. Just thinking about it made his stomach churn.

"They're right. If the humans find out you're helping us they'll kill you," Death exclaimed.

Polaris nodded. "Exactly."

Joy crossed her arms out of frustration. "Fine, but you need to keep me updated."

"When do we do this then?" Ira asked as he looked up at Warlock who was looking into an empty bag of chips with a look of sadness on his face. Now wasn't the time to chuckle, but he couldn't hide how funny Warlock looked in that moment.

Before Polaris could say anything Psylocke walked into the room with Inferno following behind him. "I think we should go tonight, at sunset."

"Why?"

"Psylocke and I just discussed it and we think it'll be the best time. The humans won't expect us to attack so soon after they ambushed us"

Polaris slightly nodded as he looked up from the map and between Ira and Warlock who looked like they were no longer paying attention. "I think that's a smart idea."

"Then do we have a plan? Are we all in agreeance?" Death asked.

"Yes. We go at sundown."

Three hours later the mutants were standing in two separate groups. Polaris was standing in front of his group, asking if they were all prepared to go to LA. Ira, on the other hand, was making sure that all the mutants in his group were prepared to teleport with Rogue. They all had to be careful not to touch him, but they needed to be close enough that they'd be in the teleportation.

"Ready?" Polaris asked Rogue and Yunho.

The two of them nodded. "Hold on tight!" Junhee yelled as he closed his eyes and imagined teleporting the fifteen of them to LA. When they all landed on the ground of the base they looked around. No humans were around, but they knew that wouldn't last long. However, across the world in Paris, Rogue teleported the sixteen of them to the middle of the base where they found themselves surrounded by humans with weapons.

A full out war of survival broke out immediately. Humans screamed as Dragon burned them from the inside out. Five feet away Pitch was crushing two humans' skulls together with a look of anger in his eyes. The more humans that fell to the ground, lifeless, the more excited the mutants were becoming. However, the excitement didn't last long.

Ira swiftly moved away from a human trying to cut him with a knife. In one movement he grabbed the knife, flipped it around, and stabbed it into the human's throat. As he dropped to the ground, Ira looked up to see Warlock on his knees, his hands gripping onto a knife deep in his chest.

In a matter of seconds Ira's sight was replaced by darkness. It was the first time any of the mutants had seen him go into his full rage mode, turning into a beast that was well over eight feet tall, a side effect of his genetic activism ability that he didn't know how to control. The other mutants and humans suddenly had their attention on Ira who was raging through the base, his fists slamming against humans like they were soda cans being crushed.

While Ira stayed in full beast mode, killing every human in sight, Inferno moved with Morph and Polaris through the LA base, the other mutants following behind them. The moment Inferno punched the electronic card scanner, the alarm on the base started to echo through the hallway. Taking a deep breath in Polaris looked around at the fourteen other mutants with him.

"Are you guys ready to kill?" He asked them.

The mutants nodded in agreeance. Seconds later, the door Inferno had broken the scanner to, opened. On the other side were humans with military grade weapons that could easily kill the mutants, but they didn't expect the mutants to have a mutant like Ghost. She had practiced long and hard to allow her ability of controlling oxygen to go beyond one person. Now, she was able to control the breathing of at least ten people. As luck would have it, there was only seven on the other side of the door.

With a smirk she put her ability into action, her smile growing wider as she watched the humans struggle to breath before collapsing to the ground. The other mutants stood behind her, watching her work her magic. When the final human dropped to the ground, Polaris gave Ghost a nod.

Polaris looked between the other mutants and held his fist up. "This is where it starts. Let's do this guys!"
