"Where's Blizzard?" Polaris asked Ira after all the living mutants had come back.

Ira shook his head as he tried to hold back tears. "We've lost so many," he said as he thought about when they had gone looking for Blizzard and had found him broken into a million pieces. He had tried to use his ability to freeze himself to save himself. In the process, a human shattered him, an unexpected outcome.

"How are we going to kill the others?" Warlock asked as he thought about how difficult it was for them to kill the humans at the two military bases.

Reaper let out a sigh and said, "Remember when you guys summoned me?"

Psylocke nodded as he shifted in his seat. "Of course."

"If we do that again, we can get rid of them."

"How?" Polaris asked.

"It killed two of us last time and it wasn't even that large of an explosion," Inferno said as he remembered what it felt like to die.

Reaper let out another sigh and nodded. "You're right but imagine what it would be like if we had every single one of us with similar abilities do it."

"You mean, you want us all to do it?" Psylocke asked.

Reaper nodded.

One hour later, and after the mutants had a heated argument over whether they were going to do what Reaper recommended. When they finally agreed, they gathered outside of the farmhouse. Though Reaper had nothing but bad memories involving that place, he had to push his emotions aside if they wanted to succeed.

"What do we do?" Polaris asked.

Reaper stepped forward and said, "Everyone needs to hold hands. Psylocke, Frenzy, Warlock, Sehyoon, and I will get into the minds of Pyro, Death, Dragon, Inferno, and Rogue."

Rogue shot up. "Why me?"

"Because, I know you have a fire ability that you haven't told any of us about. We need it if we want to successfully do this."

"But Death doesn't have an ability with fire," Joy said, thinking about how it was going to feel to see Death die.

Reaper shook his head. "He has an ability to control elements, meaning if one of us can break his mind he'll be able to control fire."

"What about Joy?" Death asked.

"What about her?"

"Will she die?"

"No," Reaper exclaimed. "The only humans that will die are the ones that are against mutants."

Ira gave Reaper a confused look. "How is that possible?"

With a click of his tongue, Reaper said, "Consider it an ability I've kept hidden. Now, are we ready to do this?"

The mutants nodded and interlocked their hands as Joy stepped to the side. All of them closed their eyes and waited for it to start. One by one, Psylocke, Warlock, Reaper, Frenzy, and Sehyoon entered the minds of Rogue, Death, Inferno, Pyro, and Dragon. The urge to catch on fire started out small. Suddenly, it was like they were hit by a ton of bricks.

Psylocke had entered deep into Rogue's mind, telling him to burn hotter than he had ever before. Next to Ira was Warlock who was starting to feel Inferno lose control as he went deeper into his mind. Pyro was already starting to scream as his flame grew ten times larger than the others. Soon after, the group of mutants were screaming as they each grew into agonizing pain from the fire that suddenly engulfed all of them.

Joy stood off to the side, screaming as she held herself back. She wanted to tear Death away from the group, but she couldn't. Death was already on his knees, his head back as he screamed loudly towards the sky. Joy could only watch in horror as each of the mutants she had grown to love burned alive together.

As the fire burned higher, and brighter, Joy covered her eyes and tried her hardest to run inside for cover. The moment her foot hit the top step of the stairs; a bright light filled the sky. An explosion filled Joy's ears and she found herself being thrown to the ground. The force from the blast knocked her unconscious. When she finally woke, she slowly crawled out of the house and looked towards the direction that the mutants had been.

"No!" Joy screamed as she half crawled, half ran, towards the circle of mutants who were all lying in the grass, lifeless. She grabbed a hold of Death, placing her hand against Death's face as she cried loudly. "No, this can't be happening!"

In the same moment that Joy was crying against Death, Reaper and Angel slowly opened their eyes and sat up. Though Reaper was able to bring all of them back, he found himself quickly crawling over to Psylocke who was lying in the grass, his eyes black and his chest unmoving. Reaper grabbed ahold of his shirt and cried loudly against him, pulling on the shirt as if it would bring him back.

"Reaper!" Angel yelled, pulling him off Psylocke.

"No!"

"Reaper! Stop!"

"I can't! He's dead!" Reaper screamed, looking up at Angel with tear stained cheeks.

"You can bring him back," Angel said after Reaper shoved him away.

After a few seconds of processing what Angel had just said, he slowly stood up from the ground. Reaper was able to bring other mutants back to life, but this was going to take a lot more than the power he had used before. There was only so many times a person could be brought back to life, human or mutant. He was going to have to change into his Reaper form.

Reaper's back started to spasm as his skin pulled apart and his wings shuddered out from his shoulder blades. The moment the wings broke free his eyes turned a dark blue and he looked at his fellow mutants that were still dead in the grass. He picked Psylocke up off the ground, holding him in his arms, and looked over at Angel.

"I don't know what will happen if I do this, but tell Psylocke I love him," Reaper exclaimed.

Angel nodded. "I will."

Reaper nodded back, closed his eyes, pressed his lips against Psylocke's, and used all his abilities at once. With his eyes closed tightly he could feel his abilities moving from him to Psylocke, bringing him back to life. Suddenly Reaper let out a loud scream and collapsed to the ground. Angel walked over to him, shaking him to get him to open his eyes. Instead of Reaper responding, Psylocke opened his eyes.

One after another, the other mutants slowly opened their eyes and sat up in the grass. All of them looked over at Psylocke who looked different than he had before. Reaper looked like to be dead and next to him was Psylocke with black wings coming out from his shoulder blades, his eyes dark blue, and his attention fully on Reaper. Finally, Psylocke looked up as Reaper's eyes fluttered open.

Psylocke smiled with his new, blue eyes and said, "We won."
