Virgil put on his headphones and turned up the volume so that all he could hear was MCR. Since they started walking to school Roman had not stopped asking questions and wasn't discrete about the situation.

He left the bathroom after he calmed down only to find his mother explaining things to Roman. He stood near the doorway since nobody heard him and listen to Roman's reaction to the whole situation.

Roman surprisingly took it well.

Virgil felt to arms wrap themselves around him and looked down to see Patton hugging him and quickly pulled his headphones down and let them hang around his neck while music still blasted through but thankfully that's all he heard. Meaning Roman had gone silent.

"Hello Patton and Hey Remy." He looked up to see a confused Remy.

"Hey girl what's up with you and Roman? Also you're wearing sunglasses and if I remember last time you said that only losers wear them."

"Um Roman is staying at my house for a bit due to some....issues and for your information i'm looking at a loser, it's you by the way. But I need to wear them for special reasons."

"What's the special reason because I've tried everything to make you wear sunglasses before and may I also ask who's are those?"

"They are mine a while back you gave me a pair and wouldn't take no for an answer and the reason is um becau-"

"Because he has a black eye and is trying to avoid stares." Roman interjected.

"Ye-yeah thats what happened." Virgil mumbled.

"You need to give me all the details."

Virgil was about to respond when Patton try to take off the sun glasses but quickly moved to avoid his hands. When he looked over he found Patton's face with a concern look on his face.

"Virgil, let me see I can help and make sure it heals nicely."

"Thank you Patton but I'm fine and besides we need to head to class."

When he looked back at Patton the normal happy expression that he wore was replaced with an unreadable one.

As soon as Remy and Patton left to their class Roman began to talk to Virgil.

"So you're not going to tell them about how you're a dragon?"

"It's not exactly and easy thing to mention and besides the human society isn't suppose to know.... So I'm just going to act like I'm normal.''

"Yeah cuz having glowing purple eyes and the ability to turn into a giant reptile is a normal teen thing. I'm just saying you should tell them because they could help keep your secret safe."

" Roman it's complicated and besides one person is enough and thank you by the way for the improv... That's what you call it right?"

" Fine I won't bring up anymore but it is just something to think about and yes improv it comes in handy for a lot things."

" Thanks and what sort of things?"

"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....."

"Nevermind any way see you at Lunch I guess."

Virgil quickly headed towards his first period.

Roman didn't know what to think of Virgil's friends they had this sort of vibe to them. They seem like they were hiding something especially Remy. Remy was pretty popular and went to a lot of parties but no one has ever seen his actual eyes. Roman knew everyone had their quirks but he wore them at night and Roman could feel his eyes watching him.

He was wary.

Roman tuned back to the conversation only to find Virgil trying to lie and failing miserably.

"Because he has a black eye and is trying to avoid stares." He randomly blurted out.

It wasn't the best lie but it seem to work but it had caught Patton's attention immediately.

Roman then saw something strange Patton hands seemed to glow a light blue but it was gone and Patton was staring at Virgil in confusion. It was at that moment Virgil began to head inside the school.

Roman try to convince Virgil to tell his friends the truth but that didn't work and somehow he had let another one of his secrets slip by. He couldn't really tell Virgil the truth about how he could come up with lies easily . It would be an awkward conversation.

The reason I can lie easily is because I've been doing it for as long as i can remember..... The reason being is my family is long generation of knights and if I speak what I actually think I would surely be dead and When you lie not only to your family but everyone else becomes easy.

It didn't seem like a wise choice and he had nothing to answer that would make sense. Thankfully he was saved by him having to leave.

He headed to Theatre and was about to open the door when he made eye contact with a girl with colorful hair. They were the person from the arena and they went to school with them. He felt as though someone punched him in the stomach. He slowly walked over.

"Hello...uh what's your name?"

"Talyn, why do you want to know?"

"Just wanted to get to know you and compliment you properly about your hair."

"Oh I'm sorry I just had a lot of shit go down so I'm not exactly good at socializing but thank you...."

"Roman and no need to explain things but you seemed to endure whatever it was pretty well so... yeah anyway I hope to see you around."

"Thanks and same."

Roman turned around and walked into class with two minutes to spare and pushed his unwanted thoughts away and focus on the lesson.

Logan woke up and stared up at the ceiling before all the memories came crashing back down and he realized what happened. He glanced around to find he was at the shop in the back room that served as his bedroom. He checked the time and saw he slept for half and hour.

Logan was now frustrated because not only did he not know who these people were but what they were especially red eyes. This job was getting weirder and weirder.
