Protector

Protector Part 10

Roman was very confused when he entered the cafeteria only to find that Virgil and his friends were nowhere to be seen. He scanned the crowd a couple only to spot a group of freshmen and sitting amongst them was Talyn.

He took a deep breath and headed over "Hey do you mind if I sit here?"

"Hey Roman, It's fine." He watched as they quickly went back to eating and chatting to another student who wore a bright orange beanie and seemed to be concerned. Roman couldn't hear what was being said but the conversation seem serious based off there reactions.

He was so busy watching the two interact that he nearly jumped when someone tapped him on the shoulder. He looked over t find someone who looked exactly like orange beanie but had a total opposite look to him. They wore a black and white jacket and seemed very timid.

"Um.... hi, my name Is Elliot. This may be very weird thing to say but you will be very happy at your soon to be permanent resident and-"

"Elliot, You're not suppose to do that remember?" Orange beanie was glancing back and forth between Roman and Elliot in a concern way.

"I know Joan but I really wanted to share the good news considering he seem kind of disappointed." Elliot quickly went back to eating and Joan went back to talking with Talyn but they would glance at Roman here and there.

Roman knew something was off about Joan and Elliot but his main focus was on Virgil and how he seemed to disappear during lunch. Roman didn't see Virgil for the rest of the day and that caused him to be slightly freaked out.

He rushed to Virgil's House and was greeted with a fire an annoyed parent and Virgil looking slightly happier.\
