Protector Part 7

Virgil was thrilled when the bell sounded for lunch. It had been the most exhausting couple of hours and school wasn't even close to being over and done with.

"Fuck....." He muttered as he slowly headed towards the cafeteria avoiding as many people as he could.

"You're looking positively dreadful, what happened is it your eye?"

Remy was suddenly went from joking to serious.

"I'm fine anyway where is Patton and Roman shouldn't they be here right about now?"

"Patton is around but busy talking to teachers as for Roman I'm not sure and besides I don't trust him."

"Isn't it my job to over analyze things and worry about them and besides what so bad about Roman?'"

"Girl, you know I care about you and i just like to look out for you that's all and I just get a bad feeling from Roman y'know what I mean right?"

"I guess but I can take care of myself and besides Roman acts like the hero and seems fine just don't over think things because that's my job. Virgil smirked and quickly went through the line and sat down with his food.

He looked up just in time to see a pair of red eyes before falling unconscious.

Remy quickly pushed his glasses up to cover his his eyes and picked up the now sleeping Virgil. He looked so peaceful and younger as he slept. Remy quickly walked to the nurses office explaining how Virgil had fainted and that he would watch him for her.

When the nurse left he quickly found Patton pretending to be ill and set Virgil down in the next bed over.

"Patton you can stop now I've got Virgil."

"Did anyone see anything?"

"No but we should hurry up before Lunch is over."

"Gotcha ya."

Remy removed Virgil's sunglasses to reveal nothing there was no black eye. He searched his face and found nothing.

"He lied to us."

"But there has to be some reason for him to do so let's search for clues."

"Patton we shouldn't even have done this. I know it was for a good cause but this isn't right."

"I guess you're ri-"

Virgil suddenly let a small whimper and began to toss and turn in his sleep. Remy looked over to find Patton trying to comfort Virgil but he only grew worse. The room was plunged into darkness and electricity crackled around the room's lights. Remy found the Patton had grabbed him and was shaking from the sudden power surge.

"Patton It's fine the power went out that's all."

"I'm sorry I just panicked everything happened so suddenly that's all."

"It's fine I'm going to check on Virge."

Remy felt himself dissolve into air and when he finally felt anchored he found himself standing In virgil's room but it was twisted more than anything. This was Virgil's nightmare and he was probably going to make it worse especially in his current form.

He began to walk around and search for any sign of Virgil but stopped when he spotted an all to familiar person. They had sandy brown hair that was neatly combed thick rimmed glasses that surrounded his light blue eyes. It was that dragon they had saved but why would Virgil know this person. He kept walking until he saw a dark figure quickly darted behind something.

"Virgil is that you?" His voice had became deep and slightly raspy.

The figure slowly walked out and into the light. They had iridescent purple eyes and a pair of bat like wings slightly poked out from their back. It was Virgil but with slight dragon characteristics, Remy didn't know what to say.

"Remy is that you?"
