Chapter 10

Gerard's P.O.V

"Sky!!" I yelled. I dropped the microphone and jumped off the stage and ran over to her. I shook her. She wasn't waking up. I would have resorted to slapping her if she wasn't a girl. I kept shaking her. "sky! Wake up! Please!" I yelled. I heard Mikey calling an ambulance. They guys pulled me away but I fought them. I blindly kicked everywhere. "Sky!! Sky!!" I called. They guys set me down and I started crawling towards Sky. Mikey grabbed me by the shoulder and pulled me back. His nose was bleeding and Frank had a bruise on his cheek. "Guys, I am so sorry," I say. Tears are streaming down my face. "Go," Frank points to the nurses loading Sky into the ambulance. He smiles at me and I start running towards Sky. "I need to ride with her, your not stopping me, no matter what you say," I tell the nurses. They see the tears in my eyes and nod. I crawl in next to Sky. I kiss her forehead and sit next to her. I take her hand in mine and puts her fist up to my mouth, kissing her knuckles. I let my tears slip onto her hands.

Ray's P.O.V

Everyone loads into the car and we drive to the hospital.She has been in the hospital for two days. There is no laughter or chit chat on the way. we park and walk to the room Gerard and Sky are in. "Hey," we all say to Gerard. he turns and smiles. We can tell he hurts. "She hasnt been awake yet," he says. his voice is hoarse. "I am so sorry," I say."I'll be fine fro bro," he smiles. I smile back. A nurse walks in. "Visitor hours are over, who is staying?" she asks. Everyone points to Gerard and she nods. "If you need anything, anything at all, just call one of us," Frank says. Gerard smiles and we all say bye. We hop in the car and drive home.

Gerard's P.O.V

They have Sky hooked up to a heart monitor. When they hooked her up to it, my heart broke. What is wrong with my beautiful Sky? I replay the time in my mind. Brian came and told me she felt bad. She came out, looking pale. I was worried. I smiled at her. I whispered her name and she whispered mine back. Then she collapsed and fell off the stage. I cringe at the memory, and at the pain in her voice when she whispered my name. The guys come in the next morning and we all talk. They know i'm hurting. I have barely let go of Sky's hand. We were all talking when my nightmare came true. We all heard a long straight beep. I can't breath for a couple seconds. "Nurse! Nurse!!" Frank yells. Everything is blurry and I can barely hear. I look at Sky, my hand still in hers. Nurses crowd in, breaking us apart. My back is against the wall. I slide down the wall. Ray runs over. "Gerard! Gerard look here!" Ray yells. Frank, Mikey, and Ray are knelt down by me. My eyes stay on Sky's hospital bed, crowded by nurses. "Sky," I whisper. A nurse blocks my sight of Sky, and I start to cry.
